BOOM HEADSHOT!

At first I thought the headline was referring to Rule 34, in which case "McDonald's play area with your kids" is still bad.

That's about right.

Hate to be that guy but, a 4k difference in Bond and the man is the only one not allowed to see the kids.  Should be equaly harsh for both of them.  At the very least neither one of them should have rights to see the kids until they are done with court.

I think Rule #34 means something completely different.

I was wondering when this would end up on FARK. I've been hearing about this on the radio all day.

History probably has something to do with it.

Good point.  Outrage subsides.

I was picturing an adult and a couple kids turning the place into a shooting gallery.

Guessing what sort of kids those two made, I'd say any place is a good place for shooting up.

/actually you shouldn't shoot up with your kids. Start them on weed or something.

OK, something is seriously going wrong with human genes in this country.

I peeked at the mugshots and that was my very first thought.

And, uh....well, now I feel really bad.

:(

If it's a new batch, or a new dealer, it's not a bad idea to try it out in public, in case you OD people will save you. Like this.

But, you shouldn't be doing that when you're in charge of kids, that's just irresponsible.

As someone who's taken toddlers to a McDonalds with a play area, I'm not going to judge these people too harshly.

Haven't you been paying attention. The man is always at fault.

Of course. That's why those words were chosen. You were manipulated. Bet you feel dirty and violated.

In Europe I went to use the bathroom at a KFC. It was a bathroom for one and it was lit in blacklight, which surprised me. Later on I found out the reason some bathrooms use blacklight is because it makes it tougher for heroin users to find their veins to stop them from shooting up in the john.

I thought they did that so you could see how well the bathroom was cleaned

I don't doubt that you were told something like that, but it sounds a little extreme.  I found this link at Snopes, http://msgboard.snopes.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=76; t =001066;p=1

It turns out that the popular knowledge on blacklight bathrooms does involve the use of such lights as a deterrent to IV drug use.

Things must be rough over there.

Oh, and that it's not blacklights, but blue florescent lights as a passive deterrent.

No, like I said, this is common and a good idea. In the event of an accidental OD you are likely to be discovered pretty quickly.

Shooting up at McD's is pretty much the only way to make the food tolerable when your kids demand Happy Meals. As a man who's had to sit through several such episodes, I approve. Say you're diabetic and it's insulin.

It's Fark, not a day goes by that it doesn't make me feel dirty and violated.  I wouldn't have it any other way.

You'd be the first person riding horse I ever knew who wanted to eat McDonald's, that's for sure

It isn't uncommon for people to OD in hospital waiting room restrooms, according to another TFer, when a similar article came up.  From my own experience, I would choose to avoid shooting in a public restroom at all costs.  I didn't inject in public often at all, preferring my own home or the home of an acquaintance.  Cleanliness and privacy were principal factors.  I recognize that not every junkie is as fortunate as I was, to own a car and a house.  Need definitely drives an addict's behavior.  If you're climbing up the walls, anywhere will do.

I hope that these folks will be able to get themselves on the road to recovery, for their children's sake, if not their own.
