A few milliamps across your arms and through your heart will kill you  -- the greenest of all outcomes!

When does someone string a wire from end to end?

In other Band News. Led Zeppelin is NOT touring this summer.

DNRTFA - but there is no farking way in hell or fsm's green earth I am holding hands with complete farking strangers at a goddam bus stop.  I'd rather be cold, thank you very much and keep your creepy, greasy, slimy, filthy paws to yourself

Considering how often I see people walk out of bathroom stalls and leave the restroom without washing their hands, I'll take the cold.

Sounds like a good way to spread disease.

a wonderful way to get the flu

(also, there are lots of times when you're all alone.  there's a nice heater here.  but, you get to be all alone forever and freezing cold.)

* So if you are there by yourself fark you? Nice.
* Asking strangers to hold hands is creepy
* In cold and flu season this is bad advice.
* When it's that cold, aren't most people wearing gloves.
* Having never met "the artist" I wish to punch him in the face.

<csb>

One time when I was an undergrad, one of the guys in the lab accidentally touched a live 10 kV power supply and was thrown across the room.

Being physics geeks, the first thing we did after confirming he was okay was measure his skin resistance to figure out how much current he had taken.  Turns out the grease on his hands saved his life.

Using statistical analysis on the preceding year's greenlit threads, I have discovered that Fark purposefully misspells a consistent 1.3 percent of all greenlit headlines; or, it could be said that they allow 1.3 percent of all greenlit headlines to be misspelled by the submitter. This is because there is a contingent of people on the site who, upon seeing a misspelling in the headline, cannot resist posting in a thread they would otherwise have no interest in. This increases page views and therefore ad views. In response to this statistic, 18% of people will say "Hey that's clever", 59% won't care, and 23% of people will be all pissed off because they're being so cynically manipulated.

Somewhere an NSA employee is figuring out how to track people using this via some sort of electrical signature of the body.

I immediately thought of a wire, but keeping warm through graffiti is awesome. Especially since the heater would run all the time putting a quick end to this asinine experiment.

Time to break out the radioshack butane soldering iron and the roll of solder I keep in my toolbox. Run a little solder trail from one end to the other and you got heat!

Over Christmas, I had gotten together with my sister and her family at our parents' house.  My son was playing with my niece's Frozen (TM) Queen whatsherface doll who plays music when you hold the doll's hands in yours.  My sister saw me watching my son a little sideways.  She asked if it was about my son playing with a doll.  I said I was more concerned that the toy required electricity to pass up and down his arms and across his heart to work.

Let's see, homeless wino guy who smells like piss and poo, tweaking hooker who smells like burned meth and cum and me who has suddenly decided to buy any other brand of battery than Duracell for the rest of my life.

My first thought of "you never believe what happens next" was a video of a gross bum trying desperately to reach to the other side because no one will touch him.

Chabash: When does someone string a wire from end to end?

Done in two. I would hack the thing for sure if I was cold and had some wire.

It's in Montreal.  Kiss-on-both-cheeks country.  And inhabited by people whose hand you might just want to hold.

Oh, and by the way, it's not ohmically heating people.  It's just some kind of control circuit for a heater.
