I do. I source the arguments too. And then I act as if I'm personally offended when they don't understand my well reasoned and researched positions.

Obviously none of you have 3 year olds.
Or a wife that can't stand any whining or crying and then yells at YOU when you ignore them.

/Man rules. I'm sorry, did you say something? Diaper? Food? What you say?

I might have called my mom by her first name once. The following years were a fog. Once, I actually said "Mom is not the boss of us. Dad is." The resulting slap explained my poor report cards for grades 3 to 5.

Genju: Skip the daily fail

Seriously. If they're just going to write a whole article describing a Youtube video, with screencaps from the video, why even bother reading the article? That was the laziest excuse for "reporting" that I've ever seen.

learned behavior.  Of course Linda finds it acceptable.  She's the one who taught him how to act like this, including the broken english, possibly his second language.  When he gets to school and away from her, he will be a very very smart boy.

I don't know if anyone remembers, but there used to be these kid's books called The Stupids.  It was their name and they were all stupid.  Once, at a very young age, I thought it would be funny to call my mother stupid, not even in anger, just as a joke.

ONCE.

2014-03-12 03:01:39 PM
As stated when this stupid video showed up on my Facebook newsfeed this morning...THIS is NOT cute behavior. Quit glorifying people who raise willful, disobedient children.  It's not cute, it's not funny, and making a YouTube video of your kid doing something that SHOULD make you ashamed as a parent explains much of what is wrong with this country right now.

Linda also means beautiful in Spanish. He may not realize that he should call her mama. I think it's cute and I don't like kids.

He's probably heard daddy call mommy honey while daddy is asking to give her pow pow's in her butt.

My sister and I called our mother by her first name.  And, yes, we had respect for her.

I think the kid is adorable,if I was his mom I don't  I could have kept a straight face let alone a stern tone. And yeah, he's a brat,as is every 3 year old ever.

Yes, I have served the occasional cupcake or other treat for breakfast. You should see the reaction shot on the monsters' faces! Nothing like feeling like SuperMom for a morning.

I like how, at one point, he tried to explain that he is at grandma's house.  Because you can fark the rules at grandma's house.  My mother has 29 grand-offspring and ain't one of them asked for a cupcake that didn't get it at grandma's house.

Spanky McStupid: Do we know if "Linda" is Mateo's mommy and not the babysitter?

It's his mother.  She says that she taught the kids her and her husband's names in case they ever get lost or separated from them.  So while I find his use of her first name to be disrespectful, I can sort of see why she lets him get away with it.

Spanky McStupid: Annoying little snot - has a future as a high-paid lawyer.

Not if he doesn't learn how to respectfully argue with people - especially women - in authority.  If I called a female judge by her first name, interrupted her, and kept referring to her as "honey" the hammer would rightfully be brought down upon me.

My youngest, max, has gained the habit of using the word 'Just' when he doesn't get his own way. As in "Just get me a cookie."

We think he's getting the message, as so far, any use of the 'just' word has got a 100% failure rate in us acquiescing to his demands

If he was really intelligent he would have gotten cupcake clearance from grandma when he saw that mom was putting the brakes on it.

If that was at my mom's house, mom would have come to the rescue of the grand-offspring and told Linda where to go.  As I have heard my mother tell her daughters-in-law on many occasions, He is my grandson and while he is in my house, I can feed him  what ever I want.  If you don't like it, don't bring the kid over here and/or find someone else to babysit for free.
