"In addition, I would remind fans who are planning on consuming alcohol to do so responsibly to ensure they gain access to the stadium and do not miss the game."

Goooood luck with that

I look forward to the crazy booze-smuggling stories that will come out of this.

As per usual

Well, prohibiting people from carrying outside alcohol in is pretty standard procedure at any sporting event anywhere in the world, not only due to concerns of drunkeness, but out of a desire to sell people things from concession stands and concerns that outside objects brought in may be thrown onto the field or at opposing fans... soooooo, non-story?

So it will be like trying to get into the infield of the Kentucky Derby

Fans would be well advised to bring a can of WD40 with them. A lot of those seats at The Piggery haven't been used for a couple of seasons and are likely to be stuck in the 'up' position.

Oh, they've been used. Paradise has been packed on Champions League nights.

You do know what the Champions League is, don't you? That's when the big clubs play in Europe. Think of it as being like the Ramsdens Cup on a larger scale. If you're still confused you're welcome to pop by for a look at our European Cup.

Probably not. Alcohol has been banned at football matches in Scotland since some of our idiots and some of their idiots decided to invade the pitch for a massive drunken brawl at the Scottish Cup final in 1980.

My dad grew up in Inverness, and cheered for Caley Thistle growing up, but cheered for Aberdeen in the Premier League for years also when Caley Thistle was in the lower leagues, and now watches all the Thistle games on the internet ...

He's quite excited for this match.
