Getting involved in this would be extremely stupid. I expect they did.

Yeah, I was gonna say, this is the first I've heard of this.

DNRTFA

Considering we use armed drones to assassinate people at wedding parties, I can't get upset if somebody decides to shoot one down.

This map is from 1922?  Seriously?  Why can't you get a more updated map?

Laziness?  Unwillingness to pay?  Incompetence?  All three?

But Obama is still a weak empty suit fascist dictator, right?

Has the shape of the land changed that much? Maybe they wanted to rock a cool looking map?

The Voice of Russia story has since been replaced with a report about the Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 crash. The URL, at time of writing, still reads "2014 03 11. Two US drones allegedly shot down in Crimea."

They haven't thought their clever plan all the way through.

I hear they plan on cancelling Putin's Prime membership. And they  won't be pro-rating his bill.

Ha!  I guess Russia wasn't too creative with their propaganda radio station name.

I'd be beyond shocked if we *didn't* have high altitude stealth recon drones lazily circling Crimea and collecting every bit of intelligence possible right now.

If we don't have high altitude stealth recon drones, then I have to question just what the hell we're spending close to a trillion dollars a year on defense and intelligence for.

Factual correctness. Because they're pretty sure that no drones were shot down there in 1922.
