No, I think it's what happens to your DNA after a few rounds of inbreeding.

If dogs wouldnt eat feces, random mushrooms, plants, and dead animals, maybe they wouldnt have this problem.

It's not the spare ribs, but the mayonnaise-based BBQ sauce.

There's a reason why "domesticated" cats can live in feral populations but feral dogs don't last as long.

Dogs may be trainable but they lack street smarts.

C'mon now, "Georgian Gangrene" came from the former Soviet republic.

You can, however, add "Geordie Shore" to the list instead.

Surely Geordie Shore is something you contract in Newcastle.

"Alabama Rot" is the reason they're trying to ban taco trucks in Birmingham. Ain't nothing like lettuce and refried beans cooked with polluted Cahaba River water and the smog of Fifth Avenue North.

Unless they're on the Moscow subway, then they have train smarts.

Cats don't last long either.  Feral cats are lucky if they make 3 years of age. By then they look awful from fighting and typically have all sorts of diseases.   This is one of the risks as they can easily transmit these to your pets or other wildlife.  Cats can't deal with harsh winters and unless fed by humans the colonies don't do as well as people think.  Never mind the impact they may have on other animals.  That said, with this recent warm weather I have already seen dozens of dead cats after the melt in and around the wildlife reserves. They have had issue after issue with feral cat colonies and I have worked with them on past removal projects..  This year we all may get a huge break from those wretched cats,  It would seem the freeze and coyotes have taken their toll.  Having spoken with a few of the rangers they have also talked about responding to reports of dead cats and finding many dead cats as well.  They also told me they haven't seen a single live cat in the parks either.  Exterminating cats may not be nice or fun, but it is a lot more humane then freezing to death or being coyote chow.

Diseases like this can come from wild or feral animals.  Always a good idea to watch what you pet interacts with.  More so if it is eating that interaction.  I am glad humans don't get half of what many pets can get.

The disease affects the animals' liver and its cause is not yet known.

Too much warm beer; and if i remember correctly that's predominantly a UK problem to begin with...
