Anyone else notice that the elephant in the article has a big penis?

I wonder if they planned that...

Yeah, I remember seeing that years ago.  Introduced to first elephant she'd never seen before: she does the elephant equivalent of "what's up."  Introduced to second elephant, former buddy from circus decades earlier: LOUD trumpeting and carrying on.  Pretty touching.

That's hilarious... Thought you were just making a joke until I looked closer and realized that at this point, the elephant could be tearing the roof of of that car and extracting a baby form the back seat, and they wouldn't notice...

opinion of us, it's going to hurt.

The elephant from our zoo, Bunny, lived the end of her life at the Elephant Sanctuary, and we were lucky enough to be able to go visit a few times, because my father was instrumental in getting her down there, and we became friends with the people who ran the sanctuary. Bunny remembered us. There was no doubt about that in my mind. They're amazing creatures.

Mischievous little shiats, too...

CSB time:

So a friend here at work does Photography as a hobby/side job/eventual business... About 2 months ago, we were talking cameras, because we're looking at the same camera. He bought one, I didn't. Anyway, last week, I was asking him how he liked his new camera. Apparently since he bought it, he took a trip to Thailand. They were taking pics, and had a bunch of elephants around them. He went to switch lenses, so he could use his shorter lens, since the elephants were right there. He take the lens off, and suddenly someone is trying to take it away. He looked over, and one of the elephants was stealing his lens. Unfortunately, the elephant was nowhere near as excited to have the lens as he appeared, because he immediately dropped it to the ground. Still funny as hell, though, he had no idea what was going on, luckily his stuff was insured.

That had to be a fun claim.
Cause of loss:  asshole elephant.
