"Anthony F. Shaker, PhD, has been ghostwriting and editing for 25 years in fiction, nonfiction and copywriting. As a writer, Tony has met and worked with remarkable people from every walk of life: from corporate boards to inspirational coaches.
Despite his busy schedule, he also found time to join a major political party, where he was elected to the national executive council. Behind his involvement is a firm belief that personal success is insufficient; and that it is encumbant on this generation to ensure the next one lives in a better, not worse, world than the present.
Tony holds a doctorate in medieval thought (McGill University, 1996), and is a scholar in his own right. His rigorous academic training and vast experience have enabled him to work in varied and often demanding areas and writing genres.
The mark of a good writer is, he believes, his capacity to grasp and use concepts in fields where he is not trained. It is also being able to understand the needs and motivations of his clients in order best to serve them. He is fluent in several languages and has traveled widely around the world."

loki see loki do: Writer is a lunatic.

Yeah. Which is not in any way to suggest that Western Policy in the Middle East has been sunshine and rainbows, of course, but this article is crap on crap.

More of the author's addled prose and crackpot analysis can be found in this prestigious online journal:

agreed. Just because he is a looney doesn;lt make our policies swell. But for farks sake, at least some of the Arab uprising was about self determination and human rights, I think. He seems to think the whole thing is an evil plan of 'the west", like so many delusional apologists.

A nice dash of the whole 'West controlled by Zionists', presented as a given, to boot.

And professional writer? Part of the trick is making coherent sentences and arguments without baseless presuppositions.

Rather impressed that a quebecois round eye can can so accurately nail middle eastern paranoia.

It really is hilarious that he sells his services as a "professional writer". As you pointed out, his style is abominable.
