If cats looked like Frogs...we'd see them for the cruel, selfish evil little bastards they are.

It's not the cat's fault that the vast majority of humans suck ass.

my cat is losing her shiat over the length of winter even though i play with her a lot. when there are no bunnies or deer to watch she has started grunting at the whirring sound the fridge makes. she thinks there is an animal behind it.

Some cats don't deal well with infants up in their face.

I have a pit bull rescue that is very hostile to any creature other than humans. It sucks, but I am one of the few people on earth who would tolerate/restrain her dog aggressive shiat (who isn't some evil dog fighter), so I figure I am doing God's work by giving her a good life.

But if she ever bit a human, let alone a family member, it would be woodshed time, just like the family in this article should do with this farking evil cat.

"By Monday, everything had calmed down. Lux was hiding under a blanket when a Fox 12 crew arrived at the scene."

Well no duh he's hiding, he knows that his reputation of being the fluffy lovable pet has been destroyed, now that the whole world knows he abuses his family behind the scenes. You just wait, TMZ will dig up a sex tape on him, and the Daily Mail will expose his mice in diapers fetish.

Cats aren't evil. They either did something to upset the cat that much or the cat is sick and in pain and needs to see a vet.

As much as my cat snuggles with me like it's her job (which technically I guess it is) I sometimes catch the look in her eyes when she stares at me that says 'hmmm...would be tasty'

Oh, no. We have a 20-lb cat that has adopted our condo complex. It's huge. It can stand on the floor and put its paws on the kitchen counter. Big kitty. That cat could keep someone locked in the bathroom.

IF you could. A cat is already much quicker than a human is. A pissed-of cat prob moreso.

Rember..they are predators. Designed by nature to be effective killers for survival.

Before the family left, we had a 25 LB half Lynx / Siamese.  Monster sized cat, but absolutely retarded.  Didn't know that cats could suffer from it, but he was literally the dumbest animal I've ever seen.  Thank Buddha/Jesus/Allah/Peewee Herman that he was, because if he ever got pissed off at us, I don't even think the Rottie we used to have could have stopped him.

My Maine Coon, Nemo, is 34lbs.

Its the breed. They are very large, VERY strong cats.

Himalayans (like in the article) are also a larger breed.

What? No recordings of the 9-11 call?

I would have liked to hear Lux in the background clawing her way through the door.

How incredibly emasculating for the man of the house. For a million years his ancestors fought all manner of large mammal including cats the size of horses. Then his more recent ancestors tamed the wild, killing wolf, bear, and mountain lion alike. All this surviving against odds and beast alike... and he locks himself in the bedroom and cries for help over a 22 pound housecat.

You sir are a pathetic waste of a million years of evolution. Your ancestors frown upon you, and you bring shame to your family name.

Either you have really low counters, or don't know what a mountain lion looks like.

Brother in laws parents have an old orange Maine Coon, first time I saw him walk through the room I thought it was a dog.

"Theres a cat? I saw the dog...what color was it? Orange... Holy crap that was a cat???"

Had a half breed Maine Coon, and he was big, but just size wise.  He never got above 12 pounds, but looked huge with his fur puffed out.  But Pirogi, the 25 LB boy, was just massive.  Didn't know enough about either breed to say if that was normal, but the vet was constantly amazed he was that big and healthy.  Stupid, but healthy.

Look man, no it can't.  Put on some sweats with a hood and slam that thing into the wall a few times.  I thought this whole thing was a joke.  I have choked out a pit bull so i'm pretty sure the average "man" can handle a mean cat, even at oh my goodness, 20 lbs.

Are you people for real?

Yeah..that's what people say when nemo trots into the room.

"Wtf?! Cats get THAT big?!"

And no..hes not fat. Maine Coons are just huge muscular cats. Average is about 30-32lbs.
