The only answer any of them really needed to give was "because I liked it."

Personally, I would never hire someone with a tattoo at my business.  What would my customers say if they came in and saw tattoos on one of my employees?  That's not the kind of professional image I wish to convey at my business.  I let my employees know that I run a professional operation and tattoos are not professional.

By "idiots" I assume he means dentists.

I'd love to see your interview process. Stripping down potential applicants just to be good and sure that they aren't inked.

I'm don't know what kind of business you run, but I'm pretty sure it's not a strip club.

Translation:  I use it as an excuse for when someone doesn't like me or thinks I am an idiot. Now I can just pretend they are narrow minded and are reacting to my tattoo instead of admitting that they really just think I am a moran.

The tattoo really doesn't distract from his eyes though (the guy in the first picture) - what the hell happened there?

If I have a company making widgets and I have a million widgets, how am I to believe you are going to respect my product when you have done almost irreversible damage to something you only have one of?

Because you don't care if the slack-jawed, minimum wage employee working the production line has two arms full of tattoos.  As long as they put X number of widgets in a box and move it down the line it shouldn't matter.  Same with the forklift driver.

Your marketing and exec teams, however.....

I personally am not a fan of tattoos. Would never get one myself but have no problems with other people getting them. To each their own.

If its tattoos of swastikas, guns, or something gang related I may be less inclined to want to be around such person because it shows violent tendancies.

If its just art and not a message of "look how bad I am" I treat them same as anyone else.

Thank you. Thank you very much, indeed.

You inked your face in order to judge people, because people judging you pisses you off? (?!?)

Dude, your cornsnake is about to digest it's own lower third.

-------------------------

Side rant - I dress as 'normally' as I can at all times to avoid this level of BS from 'norms' I used to display my 'individualism' in many ways when I was younger. Now? FFS, the cops aren't pulling over clean-cut kids quite so much as they pull over deviants.

Being a deviant is cool, and I'm one of them, but ADVERTISING that you deviate from social norms ON YOUR FACE WITH PERMANENT INK? Fish in a barrel to most cops. SRSLY

One thing I have learned in this life is that what I like and find interesting does change over time, and I'd hate to have tattoos NOW of the things or slogans I found interesting when I was 18 years old. I can't understand solidifying your interests so firmly that you can NEVER escape them, even if you want to.

Somewhere out there is a guy who regrets getting that Bananarama tattoo on his neck in 1987.
