verbaltoxin: A more in-depth story on this bill.

I doubt it makes it back out of the judiciary committee, which is where it's currently headed for revisions.

Judiciary is a plum assignment, meaning a republican heavy-hitter chairs it, meaning this election-year garbage will fly through. Being a Kansan and having covered several legislative sessions, this kind obviously unconstitutional stuff doesn't even turn my head any more.

FTFA:Sen. Mary Pilcher-Cook (R-Shawnee)

Ugh, she got elected back into the state senate? When I lived in Shawnee she would send out flyers railing against whatever Rush and other blowhards were making the new hot topic of the week. When she lost re-election a few years back I was hopeful that Shawnee was getting sick of her shiat, but I guess she is back.

QueenMamaBee: But.... I was assured that it was LIE-BERALS that hated free speech.

We're capitalists... the right hates anything that is free...

Much like when Texas started down their path of demise, I really don't give a fark.

I'll start paying attention to that hell hole when the voters start enacting change.

Dog Welder: Last Man on Earth: Dog Welder: Rapmaster2000: Which state is America's most forgetbable state?  Indiana, Arkansas, or Kansas?

The correct answer: Nebraska.

(See how forgettable it is?  You didn't even have it on your list of answers!)

Nebraska is notable for how forgettable it is, though.  Wyoming doesn't even get that much.

Wyoming has Yosemite.

No, Oregon has Yosemite.  You're thinking of the Everglades.

See? Both sides really are the same. Free speech is great unless that speech conflicts with your own beliefs, then it's bad, mmmkay?

factoryconnection: Rapmaster2000: Which state is America's most forgetbable state?  Indiana, Arkansas, or Kansas?

Indiana can't be... they have an NFL team.  Arkansas maybe but they have Clinton and Wal-Mart (you said most forgettable, not most forsaken).  Kansas is pretty forgettable all around, although we may be forgetting Wyoming and the Dakotas.

It's Wyoming.

Nice to see that the Republicans are finally learning to use the proven techniques used by the Left.

And yes, we need a  img.fark.net tag.

Ed Grubermann: Ah, the AFA. And to think that people ridicule me when I tell them that the Religious Right is trying to take over this country.

AFA makes my farking blood boil anytime they open their damn mouths. They're only <--  That --> much quieter than WBC-ers. They are up in everyone's business doing "God's work" which is actually their own version, not anyone else.

Just.......goddamit Kansas.  We have enough to deal with around here with Fred Phelps and the Tea Party and shiat like that without the government also causing education to suffer more than it already has.

Thank you.  I'm a libby lib and I hated TFA for its hysteria.
