Good lord, It's like James Remar had sex with Nic Cage's bird hair!

Sometimes peoples hair is so distracting, everything else that came before it is invalid. People without personality make great use of it.

This happened at Yale.  Apparently there is a nasty level of competition there.

I have one friend who is a professor of finance, and he went to Yale.  He told me stories of how he went to the library his first week there, and all the books with research he needed had been fixed so others couldn't obtain the research....the critical pages had been razor bladed out.

He said this was pretty much the norm at Yale.  Competition taken to the extreme.

People who destroy library material should be banned from campus permanently and fined into poverty.

People who destroy archival materials need to be shot into an active volcano.

Yale must have a "forced ranking" system that is so beloved in corporate America.  I see it drives the exact same behavior.

In a competitive system, everyone is your enemy. You can't turn your back on anyone, even for a second.
