No, subby. The correct order is Spring Break, Spring Break Returns and then Spring Break Forever. Some people claim that there's a Spring Break and Robin, but I have yet to see any real proof.

While I am looking to move to another Florida city - I suspect the next few weeks I will rejoice heartily that I am sunk in Retireeville with few 'beaches' to entice young drunkards.

/a few decades away from retirement...but get off my lawn, just the same.

I believe subby is summoning the infamous James Franco performance in the modern classic Spring Breakers.

I mod the Tallahassee FL subreddit (used to live there, don't anymore). We have certainly had a rash of people this year from Canada and the midwest ask about how Tallahassee is for spring break destinations. We keep telling them NOOO.  Geez people, its a good hour+ away from any beach, and a fairly boring town.

Two true "CSB" Spring Break stories:

March, 1998, West Palm Beach: The pitching staff of the Atlanta Braves bought me a beer. Specifically, Brad Clontz. But most of them were there. He got released a week later.

The following year I was once again back down in West Palm Beach. I'm from the suburbs of Boston, my friend I was with was from New Jersey. He wants to hit on a woman at the bar. She has a very large friend. I took the bullet and talked to the large friend. She asks where I'm from, I say "Boston". What a coincidence, she is too. She names the specific suburb she lives in, and it happens to be exactly where I live. I lie and say I'm from a different town. She gives me her number and tells me to call her and we'll hang out when I get back home. Of course I don't call her and throw away the number. About a month later I'm on a date at a restaurant and who gets seated at the table directly next to me? The big girl and her friend. AWWWWKWARD.

Through no fault of the big girl and friend, it went horribly with my date anyway. So by 10:30 it was a solo job.

Every time I see spring break now I think of the spring breaks of the 90s, and I wonder how many of those crazy chicks are now upset and protesty about spring break.

I've never done a spring break in Florida. What do people do there? Just sit on the beach and check out the girls?

Just got back from a cruise to the Bahamas last week - of the 2200 passengers, 1800 were Spring Breakers.  Some of them were so rowdy they were escorted off the ship in the Bahamas and told to find their own way home.

Pretty much the same thing they would do every weekend at college, go to parties and drink. Only this involves nicer weather and less clothing.

meh, considering the limited number of hotel rooms I think the problem would correct itself once people realized the beach is over an hour away. how long have you not lived in Tallahassee? the city has been going through a drastic transformation the last couple of years. i've lived here since 2005 and it is seriously not the same boring city it was then.

As someone who works in a hospital and lives in one of those "top 20" cities:  Oh fark, not this shiat again.

Prop chops, alcohol poisonings, fights, car crashes, jumps off the cliffs and missing the water, boat crashes, unidentified objects stuck in orifices, and of course the "got arrested, but too drunk to be in jail" folks.

I guess it is a change of pace at least.
