Why yes, the city of Springfield actually used taxpayer money to pay for this work of "art". It depicts a gymnast balancing on the back of a rhino, with a bird resting on the gymnast's feet.

The locals, not satisfied with the troll's already abundant murder vibes, regularly add to its hatred of mankind by desiccating it with graffiti, light shows, and, worst of all, stupid hats.


That must the the driest statue of all time!

David Cerny is amazing. I like the St. Wenceslsas, also mentioned in the article, too, but my favorite of his that I've seen are the Zizkov Tower Babies. Amazing stuff.
