Will Libya be going to war against Best Korea? Popcorn stocks to skyrocket.

We are not defying the government or the Congress (parliament). But we are insisting on our rights.

Bull-shiat. Defying the government is exactly what you're doing.

When will fox news ask if the activities at the Benghazi embassy made this possible?

I feel sorry for that ship's captain. If he tries to leave the Lybians sink his ship and if he survives the Best Koreans will probably kill him.

If he complies with the Lybians then the Best Koreans will probably try and find a way to kill him anyway.

His best choice may be defying the Lybians and dying when the boat is sunk, that way his family will probably get a nice meal when Best Korea honors him as a martyr.

Seems reasonable.

Libya and North Korea going to war would be what I call a win-win situation.

Best Korea is nuclear-armed. No one would ever commit an act of hostility against them.

How the hell would Libya and NorK go to war? Do they even have the ability to reach each other? Like, with giant conscripted armies and fleets n such?

They have a right to defy the government? Who do they think they are, Americans?

The war's outcome will be determined by a round of Rock, Paper, Scissors. Initially, the expectation will be that the conflict will be over by Christmas, but it will wind up dragging on for years as they just keep shaking fists at each other.

Well, the Norks have an oil tanker sitting in a Libyan port, so clearly they're reachable, and if said tanker happened to be equipped with a nuke, that could do some big damage. If the aim is to hurt Libya badly, crippling their oil exports by destroying their ports would certainly serve the purpose.

I thought ships could be owned by damned near anyone, but the flag they fly just shows where it is registered.  No?

You summed the situation up nicely. North Korea will likely imprison or kill him, and 3 generations of his family, if he refuses to load the oil on board.

the stories states that the captain has stated there are armed men on board that are stopping him form leaving.   Most likely die hard loyal NK troops or such to make sure the captain dose what he is ordered to do.

That it is North Korean-flagged doesn't mean anything. Ships change their flagging all the time, often in-transit. The bigger story here is the oil. Euro companies swooped in after the engineered "revolution" to make big fat petro-chem contracts with the new Libyan gov, but they haven't been getting the oil&gas out fast enough. Now, mysteriously, you've got these well-armed, well-funded separatists trying to pump and drill the stuff out of Eastern Libya as fast as possible. Hmm... I wonder who's backing them |:T It is a Mystery.

North Korea will insist on the Lizard, Spock extension, and then argue whenever their play of Spock is beaten, because really, what the fark beats Spock?? Nothing, that's what! He came back from the dead, dammit!

They say that paper disproves Spock, but since the reboot Spock is a time traveller (dare I say Time Lord?) who can prevent the paper from ever being written.

Why does the United States, originally a separatist group, hate separatist groups so much?

Further, now that we've achieved what is as close to a state of world peace as we're likely to get for a while, and have no more colonialism or expansion, it seems that any event that might change names written on maps is deemed as wholly unacceptable.  Separatists, partisans, rebels or however you want to label them are never recognized by anyone, even though there could very well be cases where those groups have the right idea and the "legitimate" governments are terrible and in need of change.  Sure, there are exceptions, but they seem rarer and rarer as time goes on.

Dang. I was hoping the answer was load the boat then drive it to Texas. Oil gets refined and the crew gets political asylum / freedoms.

/Really surprised that doesn't happen all the time anyway

Isn't it a captain's duty to go down with the ship anyway?
Or is it just that he can't leave until everyone else is gone?

It doesn't concern 0bama. That's the problem. He has more "flexibility" now. He doesn't give a shiat about what Russia is doing either.

Best Korea has considered the nuclear option, but, is hampered by the fact that the delivery system is out of commission.  They ate the ox that pulls the cart last week and are desperately searching for a new one.
