2014-03-07 08:06:45 PM
Either it's crashed, which is bad; or it's gone through a wormhole in time and will end up in another dimension, which is also bad.

Hmmm, not a LOT of overwater time on that flight. Down in the jungle somewhere? And no Mayday call?

Nope. It is the third, I believe. BA at Heathrow, Asiana at San Francisco, and (hopefully not) this one. &&& is a pretty good, safe aircraft.

No, 3 hull losses of triple 7's according to wiki.  Good track record for sure, but not a first.  Still sucks.

13 hours different from Eastern Standard ... so the jet was supposed to land at 5:41 PM eastern ... that puts it about 2.5 hours overdue :(.

It could, theoretically, be the first cars with a major loss of life. San Francisco crash had three deaths, two of which were caused by fire trucks

They might have flown to the far flung future....

img2u.info

So few details.... did they lose contact in the first hour? The third? It might have crashed in the ocean, it might have crashed in the mountains. That was a long flight.

2014-03-07 08:17:39 PM
My money is on them getting off course and flying into N Korean airspace where they were promptly blown to bits.

Well, it'll be bad if the Langoliers get to them before the folks from 1000 years into the future get them set up to restart humanity.
