(Deadspin)   After going 6-for-18 against the Spurs, Lebron blamed his poor performance on A) his facemask, B) his sleeved "El Heat" jersey, or C) the Spurs defense? Hint: two of these choices are correct   (deadspin.com) divider line 17

I greatly dislike the guy but I could see physical discomfort throwing off your shot.

Shhhh.....Sports journalism is entertainment. Run with the narrative.

LeBron is such a lame.  Jordan once scored 60 with 12 assists and 11 board while wearing a turtle neck.

I wonder if 'Bron blamed his mask for him scoring 61 points the other night.

/or if he'd be like me and blame the Bobcats for not giving a fark about defense

Hello, Lebron, my name is "Sleeves..."

The sleeved jerseys are selling well, so they're not going anywhere.

I wonder how many professional athletes realize that they are merely merch salesmen.

I'm no James fan, but if the Spurs could stop him they'd be the reigning champs.

Just sayin'.

I always picture George Costanza pitching the idea of sleeved jerseys...Don't your shoulders get cold? Wouldn't you want the comfort of having sleeves, and the utility to wipe sweat away with the sleeve. It's just good to have extra fabric available.

+1 internet. Make em out of latex. Say you are expanding the female mech market.

Say what you will about Lebron James, but sleeves would fark me up something severe.

"I had an off game."  It isn't that hard to say.

I wonder how Jordan would've dealt with all the stuff the NBA tries. I give them credit for always trying new stuff, but man, the biggest change to the game Jordan went through was the league making the 3-point line super-easy to shoot from for a couple years.

In the past decade they've messed around with the ball (though they changed it back), they've changed jerseys to add sleeves, vastly increased coverage and social media, made HUGE leaps in offensive and defensive coaching and game study...and, while this doesn't affect actual gameplay, can we knock it off already with Noche Latina? Throwing an El or Los in front of the team names is dumb. Pretty sure we can honor Hispanic heritage without that being part of it (I know, it's more uniform combinations to sell).

The Jordan gambling issue would have been beyond major news.
