I sincerely, from the bottom of my heart hope Cruz falls down an empty elevator shaft. He is a farking disgrace to the office he holds. The people that voted this asshole in should not be able to vote if that is what their I.Q. level represents.

When you lost the women's hockey gold, you had to keep Beiber.  When you lost the mens' hockey gold, you have to keep Cruz.  Cruz doesn't have to request it, at this point, we are going to revoke his citizenship.  Now if we can just figure out a way of getting rid of Rob Ford, we will be all set.

You filthy goddamn whippersnappers have no idea how bad things got. I was in the 41st Barista Battalion, Second Company. It was the First Java War and it was us against those filthy, stinking Canadian Horton bastards. They had the hill, and they were dug in with dozens of the insulated 100-cup urns and but they weren't expecting us to get the Pasquini Livia 90 Semiautomatic Commercial Espresso/Cappuccino Machine all the way up there from the beachfront.

By the time they heard the steamed milk hissing, it was already too late. We had a three-man special force unit from downtown Seattle that could whip up a custom  beverage (they insisted on calling it that) in 60 seconds flat. We pounded their position for five straight days, day and night. We hit them with conventional stuff first: dark roast, slow roast, Konas, Kenyas, Columbian and Jamaican roasts, the whole range of dark and rich to cold and bitter. Then the Pasquini got hot and we really let them have it:  cappucinos, over/under long-range espressos, mochas, lattes, the whole damn board.

I was in coffee grounds up to my knees.

By the time the steam cleared it was over. We hit them with so much caffeine they shook to death, rattling apart like a Model T on a poorly maintained freeway. Death by Twitch. The ground there still smells like whipped foam and burnt caramel.

I love how the Republicans suddenly decided that military service is a measure of your toughness and contribution to this country.  But I guess this is what happens when the intellectual wing of your party rises up to take back this country for George Washington and Glenn Beck...that you can only do what's right for this country if you "support the troops"...

Didn't the whole Republican Party give Dole the finger a year or two ago on some veteran or disabled person legislation? My googles are failing me.

That said, 1996 election was before my political awareness, but aside/because of his mannerisms Mr. Dole always struck me as a decent person. Probably why the party has ditched him besides one of McCain's moments of lucidity.

Cruz made fun of McCain, Romney and Dole's failed presidential campaigns on Thursday, joking about "President McCain," "President Romney" and "President Dole" in urging Republicans to stand for their principles and not repeat past mistakes.

Good one, President Cruz!

Then watch the fun start when Dems nominate Joe Biden and Biden pwns the GOP candidate at every turn.
