I'd buy it if it came with Elizabeth Daily.

If someone ever stole it, Paul Reubens should be forced to search for it.

I can relate... my prized bike got stolen from a populated California shopping center too, cut chain left on the premises and everything...  Happened 2 years ago, and i'm still not over it... I feel like my child was kidnapped.

I actually think this would be a good investment. That bike is pretty iconic.

Man, do I love that movie.  I watched it with my friends' daughters a few months ago, and they loved it so much they wanted to watch it again as soon as it ended.  I found it odd that my friends questioned whether it was age-appropriate (kids are 8 and 5).  The guy's a perv, but the movie isn't pervy.  It's a great kids movie with enough entendre to keep adults entertained too.

Also, +1.

But is it the only bike they used?  I went to the Hollywood Museum (the one in the old Max Factor building) last summer and they had a bike there that was supposed to be from Pee Wee's Big Adventure.  I would hope that somewhere like that wouldn't be allowed to just lie about whether or not a prop is real or just a replica.

Real mature, subby.

But if I steal it I can get a $10,000 reward right. Then I can use that money to buy thw bike.

Elizabeth daily is one of two reasons I can't ever let my kids watch Power Puff Girls again. Way too much hotness behind those voices to ignore.

I have no way of proving this to be true, but it is believed to be a replica. I have seen some posts on Facebook about people saying they know for a fact it is a replica because the original is still at the Hollywood Museum. But then again, I could be wrong.

In most any movie or production where a vehicle is a "star" there will be multiple copies of that with various degrees of detail. You would have a "star" model that is the most detailed and would be used for close ups with the actors and going down from that till you get to the nightmare sequence where the bike was destroyed.

The sale f the bike also happened to be on the same day of anniversary of the surrender at The Alamo. Look it up.
