I need a diagram to see how it was left such that the patient could identify it, yet it had to be taken out surgically.

Also attended a conference for it. The issue isn't that she put a glove inside her (her goal of maintaining the cavity insufflated was in fact achieved), the problem was that she didn't tell anybody she did it, so when it came time to account for the objects used in the surgery, nobody knew to account for the glove.

A dumb mistake for sure, but it's not like she got an online GED in medicine.
