Guacamole is included in the veggie burrito.

Also, I have asked for half Sofritas/half guacamole (no meat) and they've made it too.

Try it!

This is why I really would not be homeless. The exposure to the elements, constant search for food and lack of self esteem are bad, sure, but it's having to deal with all the other crazy street people that suck the fun right out of it.

I'd be more likely to punch someone who OFFERED me a bite of one of those shiatty Chipotle concoctions.

I know how that crap is made; my wife used to work there.

I know how to cook and where to buy real Mexican food.

/cilantro lime rice is an abomination.
//hope you like the dose of WD40 residue that comes with your meal.

As it was on "the Hill," that was a solicitation. The gheys and their agenda are getting violent.

Thanks Obama!

Sure, THAT's what sucks the fun out of being homeless.
/Not homeless quite yet.
//Having fun.

Seattle is not known for an abundance of quality Mexican food.  Pho?  Sure.  Thai?  No problem.  Indian?  Chinese?  Sushi?  Seafood? Take your pick.  Mexican?.... Not a huge Mexican population around the metro area around here, thus, limited authentic Mexican options.  Can you good ones?  Yeah, but you have to know where to look and they're not as abundant as points south.

/Love me a Chipotle burrito

I do, and I thank you. Chipotle weekly for my family.

...and we know Mexican food -- in Austin we also eat at many woderful interior Mexican joints as well as some of the best tex-mex available. I also make some of the best salsa around (according to anyone in the area who's had it).

That said, in spite of the "Mexican Grill" on their store front, I have  never considered Chipotle to be Mexican food. Not tex-mex either. It's Chipotle, and it's delicious.

Oh, I'm not in Seattle, I'm somewhere north of there in a place with even lower chances of finding a decent Mexican restaurant. That's why I've learned how to cook more Mexican dishes.

When I make my way south, I hit up some old faves, none of which even mildly resemble  Chipotle-esque garbage.

You sound upset that the best piece you could hook up with is a fast food worker.

Any Mexican food on the west coast is by default better than the usual mexican flavored slop we get on the east coast. But, i wouldnt even call Chipotle mexican, isn't it more California mission style? in spirit at least?

Well, there is some decent mexican food to be found. usually at the latin market/bodega/resturant where the entire place goes quite for a couple of seconds when the big viking looking gringo walks into the place.

Ask for half chicken and half steak and they give you full servings of both.

Their chips are great.

I live within farting distance of Mexico.  Everything I eat is Mexican food, depending on your semantics.

I like Chipotle just fine, but I tend to think of it as "loosely inspired by Mexican food."  It's not what's in the picture there.

Chipotle makes their guacamole spicy. That alone is a crime against humanity.

Try Rancho Bravo. You know it's good because they never bothered to replace the signage on the outside of the building after being remodeled from a KFC.
