twistedmetal: Fark you, I'll cut the biatch that tries to take my caffeine from me.
generallyso: And yet marijuana, which isn't addictive and doesn't cause either physical or emotional problems, is still illegal in most locales.
strangeluck: twistedmetal: Fark you, I'll cut the biatch that tries to take my caffeine from me.I'll never understand why people get upset when I threaten death and unholy destruction upon them and their offspring when they get between me and coffee. I mean, I'm trying to say it in a nice way, but I do need my coffee.
EvilEgg: At one point in my life I had to go through caffeine withdrawal. It made decide not to take up heroin, because I wanted to die from caffeine withdrawal, and the heroin withdrawal has got to be worse than that.

frepnog: i only drink about a half cup in the morn, but I swear I can't think until at least that half cup is in me.is that addiction?
reillan: frepnog: i only drink about a half cup in the morn, but I swear I can't think until at least that half cup is in me.is that addiction? It's addiction when you push other important things in your life aside for it. I get severe headaches without caffeine fixes. I need a cup before 8am and a cup between 2 and 3pm. I will move heaven and earth to make sure I get my cup. If I got to work and we were out of coffee, I would leave - no matter the risk to my job. That's addiction.
JohnTuttle: One of the perks at a tech job I had years ago was a free soda fountain.I figure that at my worst, I was drinking 4 liters of Mountain Dew a day at work. That's not counting what I drank at home.My wife says she almost took our son and left me because I was such an unbearable monster on the weekends when I was going through withdrawls. I'm clear of the stuff now, but even a 20 ounce of Dew leaves me snarly and irritable the next day.

reillan: But, am I ready to admit I have a problem, which this book might force me to confront? Hmmmm...
Drunk Astronaut: These people will take my coffee from my cold dead hands.I'm really sick and tired of self appointed nannies telling me that everything is bad for me.
CtrlAltDestroy: I'm one of the lucky few that isn't really effected by caffeine. I can drink soda, tea, energy drinks, etc and nap right afterwards. Caffeine just doesn't do anything for me. Also, I can't stand coffee. It's vile. I'd rather drink motor oil. I can't stand the taste or smell of it. The microwave at work is right next to the coffee maker. Heating up something in it isn't very fun as the smell of coffee is enough to be physically uncomfortable for me.Millions of people seem to love the stuff. I don't. More for them, I suppose./I don't understand it when some people say ,"but it's good when you add sugar and milk."//Why drink something if you have to mask the taste in order to be able to stand it?
