Not the point, that's just because it's popular.
They may have Sriracha (or Tapatio) at restaurants in New Orleans, too, but that doesn't make them Louisiana-style hot sauces.  I just mean that Sriracha is quite different from hot sauces that are made in Mexico or that are traditionally served with Mexican food, just as there are distinctive differences between, say, Tapatio and Tabasco or Crystal no matter how people actually use them.

Pringles are basically "Spud Buds" or "potato flakes" or whatever stamped in a hot press, so I'm pretty sure you could achieve the same sort of thing on a small scale by making Spud Buds with a few splashes of Sriracha  replacing some of the water, and then rolling it out, scoring it and baking it.

One could call them "fark Capitalism Sriracha chips," but they'd still be Pringles.

Tasty, tasty Pringles.

Fark Walmart, I got my trusty bottle of the stuff, and can just run to a gas station and get plain Pringles, and save my dignity. Can't stand Pringles otside of the plain ones; always too goddamn salty and powdery no matter the flavor.

BTW - good peasant food: cook any cheap pasta al dente, strain in a colander. Melt through a tea spoon of butter (or olive oil) and then just squirt in a bunch Cock Sauce* over it and stir.

Then add pepper liberally to give it some depth.

(*Sriracha with the rooster on the bottle)

Siracha is good but it's flavor is too overpowering to be used on just anything. Pringles sucks. This combo is at least a net gain of zero.

Then you're going to the wrong taco shops. Because the good ones in ELA and the SGV make their own salsa roja, and it is farkin awesome. There's one in Whittier I go to just for the hot sauce, and then I buy my tacos elsewhere and put the hot sauce from the other place on them.

Bottom line, if it is a commercially-available hot sauce you find in a grocery store, it is meh. And SIriracha is a Thai-style sauce made by a Vietnamese guy in Irwindale, CA. And it just might cease to exist because of its whiny neighbors who, for some reason, moved into a largely industrial city, and then biatch that it smells like industry.
