"If you want context on the picture, this was for the 1:00 PM news show in France, and the demonstration was supposed to start later in the afternoon.
While this picture does look ridiculous, the protest was 7k-50k big, depending on the source. So the end result isn't that far from what you can see here (Organiser says it was 100k people, Police say 7k, most journalists tend to say it was about 20-30k)."
A picture from later in the afternoon
Source of all this (probably the most serious newspaper in France)"

Basically this picture is deception too

Tatterdemalian: Frederick: I'm not sure what I'm more disturbed by; that it is so easy to mislead in the media, or that many are oblivious to the deception.

Remember "Rathergate?" It was only unusual in the fact that Dan Rather was clumsy enough to get caught. The media has routinely doctored the truth to push an agenda for over half a century, ever since Walter Cronkite cashed in his "America's Most Trusted" title to end the Vietnam War, consequences be damned.

Telling the truth about the abomination that was the Vietnam war may well be the greatest thing he ever did.  The original statement is here.

I guess you're one of the lunatics out there who think we lost in Vietnam because of the "liberal media". Sheer idiocy.

"Kyiv Resident" and "Anti-Maidan Activist" look like the same woman.  The "Odessa Resident" looks like a different person, and the other two aren't clear enough to call.

At least to me.

ObscureNameHere: What? No pic of that angry Afgan protester guy?  Haven't seen him in ages.  His rage face was priceless.

Here's an interesting piece by a writer who tracked him down and interviewed him. Surprised the Daily Fail actually ran this.
