Hahaha no dumbass 100% wrong.

Even if you watched a stupid TV movie about Hitler you'd know that was wrong.

The DAP, forerunners to the NSDAP, were a fascist nationalist anti-Marxist party ever since they were founded by Drexler.

The SA under Rohm had been kicking the shiat out of the communists in the streets since before the Beer Hall Putsch.

It's funny and sad that you get your butchered and botched history not even from a drunken and failed teacher, but a television set.

Dude, you're incorrect, just like the feature film you watched.  You're close, not no cigar.

Oh, go ahead and explain it to me, if you know so much.

Explain how the Nazis were left wing and were in bed with the communists, who they openly fought in the streets since the Freikorps movement and never once formed a government with.

Here, let me get you started:

http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Socialism

http://www.amazon.com/Hitler-1889-1936-Professor-Modern-Kershaw/dp/0 14 0133631

There you are, sweetheart.

And, yes, you are correct that the nazis didn't form a gov't with the communists, but you cannot deny that they were not brothers at first.

Now, go find something else to do; you're talking to someone who knows fairly recent history well.

Read a book.

Repeating a lie doesn't make it true.

The Nazis were bitter enemies of the Communists and Socialists from the very beginning. From the time the NSDAP was founded they fought pitched battles in the streets with each other.

The Nazis were textbook-classic Fascists. Choose any definition of Fascism from Eco on. They fit it. The marriage of Corporate and State Power is the foundation of Fascism. It was a cornerstone of Nazism.

sigh.

marxists think nationalism is a silly idea that only pits workers against workers for the benefit of the ruling class of their made-up countries with imaginary lines. are you the exploited or the exploiter, comrade?

national socialism is a specifically nationalist ideology that praises, in hitler's case, a quasi-mystical aryan superman who looks, strangely enough, like some socialist swede, while the corporations, military, and religious leaders rouse the rabble with fear against "them". In germany the bugaboo was the commies and then the jews.

here it was islamic freedom fighters. er, terrorists. whatever.

That's actually how they took over Prussia:
they pointed to those fights, claimed it showed how Prussia's old, commissary, non-NSDAP government wasn't able to keep up the rule of law, had the federal government declare something like a state of emergency and when the key Prussian ministers announced they wouldn't step down because that was illegal bullshiat, they sent in troops to take over government buildings and then the freshly appointed new chief of police took some of his goons along and escorted the ministers out of their offices.

Laugh all you want, FOXhead. The shiat coming out of your upper anus is about as true as The Pink Swastika. The Nazis were always a Fascist Party. They never formed any kind of coalition with the Socialists or Communists. They fought them in the streets from the get go. Their policies were, from the beginning, violently anti-Union, anti-women's rights, pro-Capital, so on and so forth. What you have is one book by a discredited crank with a Right Wing axe to grind.

I'd love to know where you're getting that excellent research provided in that book in the link.

Because I'm looking at it right now, and I'll be f*cked if I see anything that shows where Kershaw claims that the Nazis supported communism, or were brothers under the skin, or were ANYTHING but violently opposed to Marxism, communism and socialism.

Specifically, pages 114, 245, 262, 286, 331, 409, 447, all state that the Nazis were adamantly opposed to socialism and communism; furthermore, on page 33, Kershaw very specifically credits Georg Ritter von Shonerer as the initial creator of what would become "national socialism," a toxic brew of, in Kershaw's words, "anti-liberal, anti-socialist, anti-Catholic," and anti-Semitic rhetoric wrapped in nationalism that would inspire Hitler when he learned of it.

Did you even READ Kershaw, or just assume that it supported your weird theories?

This is where we ask you to back up your claim.

From what I read of Kershaw,  the Nazis started as a broad base party, which purged itself of its left wing.

No, Americans often don't understand postwar Germany's continued censoring of Nazi words and paraphernalia, but it's not for you to understand.  When you're coming off slaughtering ten million people in camps and losing your collective minds, you have a right to clamp down to make sure it doesn't happen again.  You can't buy Mein Kampf in a bookstore, etc.  it's not that they've denied what they did (like, say, Japan), they've decided to leave these things strictly to the classroom.

How is it relegated to a classroom, if you can't even buy the book, or discuss it, without fear of arrest? I understand the basis of the laws in Germany about display of the Nazi flag, etc. But at a certain point, after this many years? It seems like they are working backwards.

Oh, but don't you see, their recent history of monstrous government gives them "a right to clamp down" on fundamental liberties, because as a culture they suffer from a severe irony disorder. When you have a festering Nazi zombie wound, trying to hide it with your shirt sleeve is an excellent way to deal with it and can't possibly end badly for anyone.

Sorry, there is no similar phrase in America that can get you arrested merely for saying it in public. Merely for SAYING it in PUBLIC.

Inciting to riot, "clear and present danger," "fighting words," are not the same thing as merely saying "seig heil" in public.

Consider that in recent months, we have had people openly and specifically state they were going to kill the President of the United States, and how they were going to do it; and all that got them was a visit from the Secret Service. It did NOT get them arrested, and saying "seig heil" is NOT the same thing as calling a sitting President "a coyote that needs to be shot" after also saying to that same President he "should take a ride on my machine guns" while brandishing same.

To reiterate, if saying things like that CANNOT get you arrested, I'd be interested to know what phrases in America you think are similar to "seig heil" that CAN, in fact, get you arrested.

You might notice that neither the headmistress nor the idiot who shouted it during the minute of silence got arrested.
The soccer teams banned the idiot from games, i.e. he got locked out of their stadiums for several years and not locked into prisons.

The headmistress is being investigated.. by her boss.
Depending on federal state or when they got the job, teachers at public schools in Germany aren't just hire- and fireable employees, but a sort of government officials (Beamter) with special rights, privileges and duties.
If she's verbeamtet, she likely had to swear an oath saying, among other things, how she'll honor and defend the constitution of country and state (not sure what Bavaria does).

As far as I can tell from the German sources, the mentioned investigation is her boss looking into the incident, not law enforcement.
I don't think she has even been suspended yet and for now you can forget the possibility of her being fired (see "Beamter" again).

One example: If you were to yell "run n------s!" (bonus if you included some profanity in there) at a bunch of African-American kids running a race, you'd likely be prosecuted for a hate crime or civil rights violation of some kind.

Heck, a kid just saying "I've got a gun" would get arrested, probably regardless of the context.
