If you want to hear an excruciating podcast, get Jay Mohr's one with Eric Roberts.  It's obvious Roberts doesn't have any idea what a podcast is, and when he's allowed to talk about whatever he wants, he talks about...prose.  It's as dreadful as it sounds.

Why not hire Katherine Heigl? She already is a master of talking out her ass, so putting her in a film where her mouth is constantly and literally full of shiat would be perfect for her!

Yeah. The episodes where he gets people that are too into their "craft" are always bizarre. I felt the same way abour Perry Farrell

I thought it would be the Somali guy from Captain Phillips, since there was a fark thread about he was only paid 65k for his movie role and is broke as a joke.

No. While the first one was interesting and a halfway decent movie, the second film was absolute crap. I wouldn't recommend it to people who like bad campy movies.

nicely done.

The movie series is a good metaphor for Hollywood, copycat movies, and the viewing public.  Hollywood being the "head" of the centipede, and moviegoers the tail.

F Monkey actually won for Amadeus, so he wouldn't be an "Oscar nominee".  He's also in the new Wes Anderson film, so his career is doing alright.

Frank Langella is the bad guy in my all-time favorite bad horror film: The Ninth Gate.

I just realized that with Lance Henriksen, Bill Paxton and Jennette Goldstien, that must have been during the time she was married to James Cameron, since their part of his 'repertory'.

Of course. The fact that Henrickson was in Piranha 2, Paxton did the narration for "Ghosts of the Abyss" and Goldstein had a small part in "Titanic" weren't so obvious.

Cameron was married to Gale Anne Hurd, the producer, when Near Dark came out.

You have interesting ideas on the constitution of 'halfway decent' and 'interesting'.

Perhaps you meant 'shocking' and 'personally arousing'

There are many films that need not have been made, (protip: 'hc' is one). Making multiple sequels of such disturbing filth (and I say that as a desensitized multiple-screwed-up-forum poster) should be unnecessary, not desired. The premise is vomitous, and isn't filling a vital demographic's insatiable desire. It's fetish 'cinema' for sickos. The fact that a threequel is greenlit shout tell us there are ills in society, we know, that aren't being treated. I pray there are no copycats.

/I've seen only a few disturbing minutes (tonight) available online for free. I suppose the most disturbing scenes (anal sewing et al) are unavailable because $$$. And I'm not pining for them.

I hope the brilliant mind behind this series works out their VERY PRONOUNCED issues so they can eventually live amongst society without issue.
