Maybe Obama IS Putin. Have you ever seen them in the same room together, Sarah?

PALIN: Obama should stop acting like a commie totalitarian and act more like the leader of Russia.

On a phone, so not gonna post a pic, but a lot of the ladies liked the pic of him shirtless at the beach a while back. Just sayin.

I'm not knocking it.

Granted, this was a few years ago - I'm sure the office has taken its toll.

So I wonder how many Republicans were rooting for Kruschev while JFK was in office?

I may be off on my history, it WAS Kruschev who was in charge at the time right?

They're obsessed with all kinds of crazy shiat. Putin just happens to work as their current anti-obama character. They'll get back to hating on him when it's convenient. They're stupid like that.

I think they actually admire Putin.  Giuliani looked like he was sporting a boner during his interview.

It's a well known fact, that rich white people will stick to their own kind.

Russia climate suits the GOP. Religion entrenched in law, gays, atheist and dissident crushed and unfettered and unregulated capitalism.

Plus a neoconservative military diplomacy ideology in full swing.

Ah, Mrs. Palin. From undereducated and overburdened vice presidential candidate all the way way down to pathetic one-trick-pony political pundit...which is a worryingly short slide in today's GOP.

Sarah who?

Someone answer me this, because I'm too young to remember specifics --

Did we (the US) have armed forces in a continuous conflict or "peace keeping" phase at any point during Reagan's presidency?  I'm reasonably certain that between Bush 1 and now, we've had continuous forces at conflict in the middle east, but all I remember from the Reagan era was dropping bombs on Libya and somewhere in South America (Panama?).  It seems weird that, if that's the case, the one guy that everyone assumed was going to start WW3 may have been the least aggressive of our leaders since I've been alive ...  (not counting Carter, he wasn't aggressive at all, but his hands were tied by other's actions, and I was only 4 when Carter left office, so I can't really speak too much about that)

Well, she did have Putin for company up in Alaska for how long, just peering over at her. His hot Russian gaze, steaming over her as she looked out her window, wondering if he was thinking about her, her land, her country, and quietly dying a little inside each day that she didn't get a call.

Now she's wishing that the President could fill that void left by the only man that she's ever truly felt deep in her heart, besides Jesus.

It's an old story, but one for the ages...

We were keeping peace all over the place.  Except for Beirut.  Those motherfarkers in Grenada learned a harsh lesson after that incident.

The least aggressive leader? I don't think so. There is the contra war in Nicaragua for starters (bonus: financed through shady weapons deals with *drumroll* Iran). Then there was the invasion of Grenada in 1983.

I don't know why it's so hard to believe that Palin genuinely saw this coming years ago. Her insight is the kind that one would expect to see from someone who reads all of the newspapers.

Heh... I didn't think this was possible at this point, but the GOP has found a way to embarrass themselves even more than they usually do.

So the GOP wants Obama to declare himself president for life, and run the country with an iron fist?

Wait, isn't that what they accuse him of doing on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays?  I guess today's Wednesday...

So she's got the same thought in her head as the rest of the GOP.  It's not like there's room in there for two thoughts.

Obama can't act more like Putin until congress stops treating him like a black man sitting down to a whites only lunch counter.
