Take a bow, subby. You've earned it.

Why would the House want dead Sex in the City actresses?

I guess they were pasture prime.

I assume nearby chicken farms are on high alert...

For members of the House, not poultry deaths.

Made some bad decisions and are too poor to maintain what you've got? Here's your fine.

This is the fate that awaits all of the horses in New York City if Lib DeBlasio gets his way. I guarantee it. There is not enough charitable acreage in the country right now, as this guy's story amply proves, but the eco-tards in Park West want to see working horses put to death instead of offending their widdle fee fees.

Out of sight, out of mind, right, libbies?

how did this turn into a right wing rant?  they're not going to starve the damn horses to death you moron. maybe, just maybe he thinks the horses deserve more than a stall and being hitched to a carriage? maybe they can work something out and give them some pasture somewhere in Central Park or something?  I'd hate to see NYC lose the carriage business but if they can find the horses a good home to live their lives out on then that would be okay.

If only there were something else this poor, oppressed, animal-torturer could have done.

Exercise one of the myriad options available to avoid killing the animals you can't afford due to neglect, and avoid the fine.

Apparently the subtle reference by subby to beating a dead horse went over some people's heads?

See it's logic like that that I've never understood.  More sympathy for the animal than the person.  What's wrong with you?

Horses are pretty tough. They can handle higher temperatures and humidity than people can. Simply standing, then walking along with a carriage, is not even remotely close to hard work, or even average work, for a horse. Horses also love company, attention, and doing things. Grazing is a favorite activity, naturally, but so is meandering along, hanging with friends, and generally doing the minimal amount of work demanded of a modern carriage horse.  Dumping a horse that's used to that kind of attention and activity in a pasture 'for retirement' to placate brainless humaniacs is traumatic for horses and is really rather cruel.

The human threw away his financially advantageous option willingly. A live horse sells for considerably more than an emaciated dead one.

Are you also against prosecution of dog fighters who subsequently destroy the losers? Because it sounds like we'll never see eye-to-eye.
