My local video store has free kid's movies, rents most titles for $1, has an epic selection in special grown up movie section, has a great selection of new releases and the counter guy is a reference library for cinerma and TV recommendations. I really have no pressing need to rent since I get 8 BDs a couple times a week from Netflix, but I still make a point to go in and rent from the store just because I think it would be a damned shame to lose that resource.
