The worst domestic carrier by FAR. Everyone else at least pretends to care about you, even if they don't, and some of them even really do, but United is just the absolute worst at everything. Worst at all the things.

Actually, I believe with 3 Majors - in size sequence (American, United, Delta), 1 "Low-Cost" Major (Southwest) that is expanding internationally with the 737-MAX, several specialty/regional carriers (Jetblue, Virgin America, Alaska, and Hawaiian), and Spirit/Greyhound - this competition will bring about profitable carriers that can engage in price-wars and not unsustainable fares that characterized the last 15 years.

There is no such thing as a free lunch.
