I, personally, have enjoyed watching WhoopAssWayne prompt you liberals to cut and run for excuses for your dear leader, just as you did in 2008 when President Obama failed to react appropriately to the Russian invasion of Georgia.

WhoopAssWayne: Putin humiliated Obama during the Syrian Crisis, owned him. That failure means we can't intervene in Crimea or Ukraine. Putin can do what he wants.

Keep f*cking that Chechen.

WhoopAssWayne: Putin will do what he wants. He baited, then humiliated Obama during the Syrian crisis. Obama was baited into going all in - only to find out he had no international support whatsoever. The rest of the world, led by Putin, just laughed their ass off. An embarrassment for Obama, humiliating for our position in the world. Obama will sit this one out.

Judging from this thread, looks like I need to update my list again. Let's see, where did we leave off?

4,283: I can't fit into my college tuxedo anymore
4,284: A lot of times when you get fish in restaurants it isn't the kind they say it is
4,285: South Pole research stations are on New Zealand time
4,286: Nothing really bad ever happened to the kids who bullied me in high school, like I'd hoped
4,287: My polar vortex survival stories are underwhelming
4,288: I tried to rent  The Dark Knight Rises but accidentally spent $1.99 on  The Dark Knight, which I'd already seen

Ah, here we go. Okay:

4,289: A nuclear power is acting as though it had some influence in a region where everyone speaks its language and it already had 26,000 troops and half a navy.

For all of these things and more,

WhoopAssWayne: ongbok: That is an interesting alternate reality you live in.

That Obama pushed for a Syrian war, over and over, and the world and country stood up and shouted that dumbass down? That is the world *we* live in.

Has anyone ever suggested to you that your unhealthy fixation on Barrack Obama might stem from unwanted urges you've been suppressing?

let me get this straight - you are upset because you believe that obama wanted to intervene in syria and you are upset that he didn't intervene in syria?

It's going to take him a minute to answer. He has to look through his FWD:FWD:FWD emails for a talking point to address that.

he probably prints the emails off and stores them in binders in his "library"

That is an interesting alternate reality you live in.

While I don't think we were humiliated by Syria, (and I *DO* think we should sorta sit this out militarily, our best weapon here is economically), I will say I *WAS* farking pissed at the international community during that bullshiat.

Instead of going alone, for once, America goes "Holy crap, they are using chemical weapons on civilians. This is horrendous and cannot be allowed. We should do something."

*Rest of Europe* "NOT IT."

(But yeah that guy lives in an alternate reality, I agree with that.)

He lives in the timeline where Obama has a goatee.

"The President would be better off focusing clearly on the one thing that is in our national security interests: securing Syria's large stockpile of chemical weapons," Sen. Cruz said. "We know Assad has used these weapons, and there is good reason to suspect the al Qaida-affiliated rebels would use them as well if they could get their hands on them. This poses an intolerable threat not only to our friends in the region, but also to the United States. We need to be developing a clear, practical plan to go in, locate the weapons, secure or destroy them, and then get out. The United States should be firmly in the lead to make sure the job is done right."
Ted Cruz June 20, 2013

"This is not a world we should accept.  This is what's at stake.  And that is why, after careful deliberation, I determined that it is in the national security interests of the United States to respond to the Assad regime's use of chemical weapons through a targeted military strike.  The purpose of this strike would be to deter Assad from using chemical weapons, to degrade his regime's ability to use them, and to make clear to the world that we will not tolerate their use."
President Obama September 10, 2013

"Obama is too willing to use U.S. military might in defense of international norms in Syria in a way that is not in the interest of protecting our national security,"
Ted Cruz September 11 2013

Well, double dumbass on me then.

Were Barack Obama not President, I would have been unable to issue the sarcastic statement, and thus you would not have mistaken my sarcastic statement for a sincere expression.

Therefore, President Obama is to blame for your error.

21-7-b: WhoopAssWayne: LordJiro: The deal was that the chemical weapons, and the equipment for making them, were to be destroyed, under the UN's supervision. Nice try, liar.

Putin was behind that deal. Obama folded liked a cheap suit, hid under his desk, and pissed in his pants. Putin made that happen. That's why we have so little international standing now. Obama's failure as a leader at any level.

you mean when obama threatened a strike unless action was taken to remove the chemical weapon stockpiles, which led to a plan to remove the chemical weapon stockpiles?

No. That was Putin that threatened a strike while Obama hid in a closet in the Oval office curled up in a fetal position and crying.

This is the reality that he lives in. I bet he even believes that Obama didn't order the operation that killed Bin Laden. He probably believes that it was the military that seized power from Obama and ordered the raid because Obama wouldn't do it.

I see. Passing out sophisticated anti-aircraft weaponry from Kiev's infinite stockpile of such weapons to random Ukrainians, in order to fight some sort of guerrilla war against conventional Russian forces, makes total sense now.

All the Bush protest flags got rolled up. Put up under your beds. Until, of course, Obama wanted to start a new middle-east war, then we saw the greatest Fark anti-war liberals promote war every day.

Saw a newspaper thread blaming Obama for the Russian invasion of Georgia in 2008, several months before he took office. There's no part of this that isn't a clusterfark, so Crimea declaring independence seems reasonable.
