It's Colorado, so that's probably "I now like, pronounce you man and husband, man."

I'd just like to throw this out there:  I'm an ordained minister, and while my state does not permit same sex marriages (ಠ__ಠ), I will gladly perform them and will accept modest honorarium in many forms.

Or some awesome cookies or something.  I could never abuse my religious authority and the sacred vow I took when I hit "PRINT".

I was totally expecting a story about how Jeff Bridges was now conducting weddings.

\you know you'd do it, Farkdom

"Do you take this woman to be your lawfully wedded wife?"

"I... uh... oh man, I knew this next part a few minutes ago..."

FriarReb98: I was totally expecting a story about how Jeff Bridges was now conducting weddings.

I did, too.

/one pair of my friends had a "Big Lebowski" themed wedding

Nothing says a 60 year marriage like being higher than a Georgia pine on your wedding day. Now, that right there is a marriage that's going to last...

Really? Cheech & Chong stereotypes is how we're going to talk about marijuana stories in 2014?

Go pour yourself another champaign from the open bar, granddad.

Who hasn't been smoking weed at any given gathering for the last 40 + years now?

Hickory-smoked: Go pour yourself another champaign from the open bar, granddad.

Go tell your wife it isn't mine - I pulled out in time.

Oh sure, pulling out. Is that what you conservatives use for birth control now? Holding an aspirin between your knees isn't good enough anymore?

Appreciate the reference, and am fascinated by the name "hickory-smoked" - do many hickory smoked pork shoulders?

/protestants strongly believe in birth control and use it frequently

Considering that my retired in-laws were apparently smoking weed around the corner of the picnic shelter, yeah, yeah it just might. Damn hippies... really glad the park rangers didn't catch them.

I laughed at your "hit PRINT" comment.....then I looked it up and saw I can become ordained online for free......then I have to get a license from the state for $10....I am SO doing this!

Just like to point out that in Old English, back when Beowulf was recent history and "man" just meant "person", our word "woman" was the compound word "wifman", meaning "man who is a wife".

So, "I now pronounce you man and wife-man".

/somehow I suspect the Angles and the Saxons didn't use that exact ceremony, though
//more mead, less hemp!
