The very first DVD I ever bought.  Watching it with the commentary on is in some ways like watching a hilarious new Spinal Tap movie.

That is f*cking awesome.

Having just finished Lydon's autobiography, as I'm reading that I was thinking "Johnny's gonna love that."

And I left satisfied.

The most unfunny thing I have ever watched. The only good thing Christopher Guest ever did was The Princess Bride.

For someone who is all death and gore and grossness, Alice Cooper has an amazing sense of humor.  Did you see that episode of Top Gear a few years back where he was the guest?  He was hilarious.

Can I raise a practical question at this point....are we gonna do Stonehenge tomorrow?

I was lucky to be able to spend a few hours with him in 2000 before and during the grand opening of his short-lived bar in Denver, and he was as nice and funny as you are thinking he might be.  I mentioned I liked Calloway golf clubs and you would have thought we were old friends by the way he talked to me after that.

After reading TFA, this should be a touring thing.

Back in the 80s I was producing this Agnostic Front show in Baton Rouge and I really didn't know what to expect. This van drove up and Vinnie Stigma hops out with a farking pit bull. I'm thinking, "this May be a difficult night."  Then he says, in a kind of Brooklyn nerdy voice, "are you T?  We're looking for T."  Then he tells me they have the dog because people get the idea they like to fight and so the dog, who was the most docile creature I'd ever seen, was there to intimidate people.  They turned out to be extremely nice people.  They were not at all the personification of their skin head image.  It was a great show and they were welcome in our part of the South any time.  They even picked up a local guitarist when their guitarist quit.

I thought I heard not long ago that Harry Shearer had tagged along with the group Saxon shortly before TiST got started and that many of the incidents in the film have a genesis  in real life.

It's called an opinion and I seriously stand by it.

Also, I forgot to mention he did do one other good thing, Jamie Lee Curtis, but that's it.

The Charles Bronson movies? Did Guest get shot up as an extra in one of those, cause I'd watch them again for that.

I got in with a tour group that went into the ring at Stonehenge to watch a sunset. Also in the group was this old hippie dude and his son, who had just turned 16, so his dad was taking him all over the cool places.

We stood inside Stonehenge and SANG Stonehenge.

CSS, I know.

/I did the awesome screech in the middle.  "No man, I got this," I assured them.

Nah, he plays a cop.

I also found out when I went to double check that factiod that Denzel Washington has an uncredited role in it as well.

He does get shot up.

0/10. It's so good I don't even feel the need to argue for it, you're just wrong.

I went with a musician friend to see this in a multiplex matinee showing. The places had about six silent audience members, and me and my friend (a drummer, by the way) just pissing ourselves laughing at how funny...and borderline accurate...it was. A favourite still, but clearly a niche favourite.

Coop has GREAT stories... Got me through a year and a half of working nights. Stories about Jon Jett when she was first starting out, some of the shiat that used to happen when he hung out with Groucho Marx, going on tour with The Who, having Devo open up for his band. His radio show is farking awesome.

As absolutely hilarious as I think the Stonehenge scene is, I still lose my shiat the hardest when they keep getting lost backstage. I also like when their wireless system starts picking up the police band.

Yeah, I was thinking about the pod, too, but the part where they're lost backstage is still my favorite, but God, that farking pod is good... Especially when it starts 'thinking' about how it might want to open. ..
