The drop for mandatory sentencing is likely to happen because the Senate and House are both pushing for it.

ABOUT F*CKING TIME.  It was never a good idea.  These judges that need to amass a lot of experience and academic muscle in order to get to, you know, judge?  They generally don't need paint by numbers legislation like mandatory sentencing and three strikes you're out in order to do their jobs right.

I just find it funny that the Democrats are pretty much SOL when it comes to national elections, and all of a sudden, we're going to start letting criminals out of the prison system by the truckload.  Probably using the same trucks that bussed the illegals in to vote.  Oh, Democrats.  The things you will say and do to get attention never ceases to amaze.

I'll say one thing for Georgia; we may have a pack of poo-flinging baboons running our state government, reflexively passing ALEC bills, but at least they haven't gotten around to privatizing the prisons.

And the same ones that demand that defense contractors continue wasting money on unfeasible weapons because abandoning the plan now will layoff 10,000 workers!  Oh noes!  It's only welfare when the other guys do it.

Look, they taught TSA level intelligence to say "A" dildo, not "your" dildo.
You can learn to say Democratic National Party and not democrats, eh?

Well, I've got some bad news for you.  Privatization only complements and expands state run correctional facilities, they don't replace them.

Well, we need those tanks so we can simply drive over the trench and barbwire defenses that the terrorists are holed up in.

Well, at least we have a small handful of politicians that have their heads on their shoulders and not in the clouds with a sky fairy. Make a difference and vote them in.

Back on topic: our proposed update to the old "medical marijuana" program sucks hardcore. Hailey's Hope will only set us back further when it comes to legalizing ganja.

It was all part of the plan.  Remember NAFTA?  Letting shoddy Mexican trucks be able to operate over the borders?  Those are the same trucks.  It's all part of the mexican-industrial complex.  They build the shiatty trucks then fill them up with weed and illegals.  The weed gets distributed and the illegals dropped off at the voting booths.  They vote then smoke the weed and get arrested.  Now the trucks need to return home, so the illegals get let out to vote, are loaded on the trucks and sent back across the border, and you repeat the cycle.

Nah. Only the religious right... And lets face it, there's simply no pleasing them.

There should be plenty of job openings in the booming business of marijuana growing/processing/selling.

Oh, yeah, I forgot those. Fortunately, they're a small part of the overall prison system. Some states put the majority of their inmates in privatized prisons.

In my 20-30 some odd years on this planet, I've learned this.  There are two people types of people:  Those who can function using marijuana and those who can't.  Those who can't have other problems that prevent them from functioning and are in the minority.
