Seriously, has any one thing (other than Florida) generated more threads than Airplane!?

I haven't seen a good Airport! movie thread in a while.

I just want to say good luck, we're all counting on you.

I love these Airplane! reference threads. Theyre funny and dont come around too often to be annoying.

I'm afraid you may be out of luck.  The Airport! movie thread is in the red zone.

25% is just statistical noise. I was going to make a joke about all of Dallas and Tarrant counties being near airports, but meh.

/imagine the surprise of having F18s take off next to you while pumping gas

The red zone is for loading and unloading passengers. There is no quoting Airplane in the white zone.

Poor  are 25% more likely to be unhealthy. That's all I take from all these studies.

Looks like I picked a bad time to move next to the airport.

Maybe drug addicts are more likely to live near airports because cheap rent.

I don't live close to an airport or a military base, but apparently I'm on the flight path for some really hard-core and very loud air force shiat.

I thank Obama every time my house shakes from both helicopters and airplanes.  FFS, can't they keep it down?  Is there any point to these missions?

gfid: cheap rent.

This was what I was thinking.  Property is generally cheaper near airports and people in cheap properties are generally less healthy.

Weird thing about Dallas is DFW airport is surrounded by Grapevine, Coppell, Las Colinas, and Southlake which are some of the wealthiest cities in the metroplex.   Dallas Love Field is flanked by University Park and Highland park which is where all the old Dallas money is.   Plenty of shiatty apartments in the approach path of one of the runways though.

I'm glad articles like these are finally pointing out the risks of a living in polluted and noisy environment. these conditions are no laughing matter, and it's no surprise sometimes the the residents have to be gotten to a hospital.

I think it could be true. What can you make out of this?
