Damn you subby, I had forgotten about the shoe... now I'll have to watch this over the Oscars.

Will Maggie get as naked as basic cable will allow? And will she drop that fake southern accent and revert to her natural hot British accent?

Much like some people don't understand the interest in this show, I just don't get the interest in the Oscars.

Relatively Obscure: Much like some people don't understand the interest in this show, I just don't get the interest in the Oscars.

I have interest in the technical awards. I couldn't give a shiat about the other awards or the musical numbers.

Though I'm betting Harold Ramis should beat Philip Seymore Hoffman in amount of applause during the dead people segment.

Anyone who watches the show probably doesn't care enough about the Oscars to actually sit through them.  I know I don't.

Harold aramid died too close for inclusion of this years oscars memorial film.

And last year, they told the audience no clapping during that time, because they didn't want it to become a popularity contest.

Wait... people still watch TV when the networks try to air it?

It's called Tevo, the Internet, On Demand, and DVR. People watch what they watch when they want to. It's how it's been for years.

I've got nothing else planned for 9 o'clock tonight, but I'm going to record it and watch it tomorrow instead.

Suck it, plebs!

They would have to have to have some dipshiat editors for Harold Ramis not to be in the death list.

I could be wrong, but there's a February 1st cut off date.

Andy Griffith was left off last year, which was pretty unforgivable.

And I heard that families and freinds have to actually campaign for them to be added

I'll be really annoyed if Get a Horse wins instead of Mr Hublot. Other than that category, I don't care much.

They're going to kill off Daryl and hope Putin's troops will put down the riots.

Watching Walking Dead, DVR'ing Talking Dead to switch over and watch the Oscars.  The good awards won't air till the 9pm or 10pm hour anyway as well as the dead celebrities.

Well, there's only two more episodes, so it's a bit of a moot point by now. I do wonder if the show will take a tonal shift now that they're done with the interviews.

With TWD, you can kind of quip on it as it happens. With TD, you'd better be paying very close attention. Not dividing your attention between the show and a thread. They usually put up a TD thread or something that quickly turns into one a day or two after airing.

I can't speak for everyone else, but for me it's because I can watch Walking Dead live.  I can't justify paying for HBO for maybe an hour of content each week.

*watching last week's episode*

I know it's more dramatic, but firing on full-auto would be one of the dumbest things to do in that world.

Exactly. Full Auto doesn't exactly lend itself to headshots. Or smart ammo conservation. I think he wasted more bullets than Carl in the Mid-Season Premiere.

Mother Nature you can drop as much snow and ice as you want to but I swear to God my power goes out during The Walking Dead and I will set a tire dump on fire just to spite you.

ALSO DO WE HAVE TO SHOW THE GOVERNOR KILLING HERSCHEL AT THE START OF EVERY EPISODE?!

I'd be surprised if she did die.  Then again, both her and Daryl on are the death couch tonight.  And there's no way Daryl's dying.
