Also, handy rules:

All fat to be cooked should be butter or bacon grease.

Where it says "water" use milk

Where it says "milk" use cream or half and half

Where it says "vanilla" use vanilla, rum, bourbon, or w(h)isk(e)y

Don't be afraid to add things like galangal, cinnamon, or cardamom to things.

There can be only one.

1. Follow the Bisquick recipe on the back of the box, but double the milk, use one egg per cup of mix, and add 1/.4 cup buttermilk.

1 cup flour
1 cup milk
1 T sugar
1 T baking powder
2 T vegetable oil
1/2 t salt
1/2 vanilla

Big pancakes that fluff up nicely.

Also cook your bacon in the oven. 20 mins at 400.

Easy and amazing light, fluffy:
Silver Dollar-
4 eggs
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 cup  flour
2 cups sour cream
3 tablespoons sugar

Make this, too

1 cup water
1 cup sugar
2 1/2 cups strawberries

Put it in a pan and boil it down on low for a half an hour or so. You're welcome.
