Does make me think though... I wonder how a steak flash cooked with a red-hot many-piercing nail press would be like?

Think of like the bastard child of a George Foreman grill and an Iron Maiden.       Heat it until the pointy bits are red hot, then just simply stab into meat... instant cooking.
