That was a horrible story. From the attention whore photo, to the revelations that he eats raisin bran, to the bit about him being good at pretending, to the point where he says he eats other things when his girlfriend makes him. THERE IS NOTHING NEWSWORTHY ABOUT THIS STORY AND EVERYONE INVOLVED SHOULD FEEL BAD.

Wonder where he gets pizza from, EC isn't rife with good pizza joints. If you want Chinese or Korean food though, plenty of choices.

He sounds like he's releasing this story to the media himself, so he just sounds like he's seeking attention.

I have a friend who essentially ate nothing but pizza. He had a mini-stroke when he was 27 and his BP was 240/150.

Sounds fake.  But, on the off-chance it's not..

"I must say, even though I sound like a horribly unhealthy and fat person, I'm not. I'm thin. I have tons of energy, and I feel great every day, so there might be something to the exclusive pizza diet,"

I'm thin, have energy and feel okay, and I eat nothing but unhealthy crap.  There's not something to the diet.  I'm young and lucky and it'll probably bite me in the ass soon enough.  And I'll be delicious.

2014-03-01 08:46:10 AM
25 years spent as a 6-year-old who refuses to eat any pizza but plain cheese.  Anyone who eats a cheese pizza is wasting the potential of the dish.  Surely, out of all the meats, vegetables, herbs and even fruits you can put atop a pizza, everyone can find at least one thing they don't hate.

To each their own if they choose to eat that at home, but anyone who goes to a party and insists on having plain cheese to the exclusion of other choices should just bring one with them.

Actually, scratch that diplomatic comment.  Anyone who eats plain cheese pizza will forever be that weird kid with food allergies or who was so picky their mother caved in and fed them the same three things throughout their entire childhood.  Grow some farking adult tastebuds and learn to appreciate the many amazing and delicious toppings that can be combined on a pizza.  I can guarantee that at least half of the plain cheese eaters do so only out of habit, believing it's all they like despite not having tried anything different since they were 8.  Tastes mature.  Indulge yourselves, babies.

There's nothing wrong with a cheese pizza.  Especially if it's a very good pizza (well-made crust, fresh cheese), I often like to enjoy it plain.  Cheese pizza is also a great compromise when you have (like at my office) a person who keeps kosher, a person who doesn't like most veggies (me), and two vegetarians.

I love a variety of toppings too.  The hit of my recent pizza-making party was bleu cheese, ham and roasted garlic.

\Now I want pizza

There is always plenty of submissions.  Some of these crazy farks do nothing but submit things all day long.  I remember seeing someone post they've submitted something like 3,000 times.  People complain about what gets greenlighted because they like to complain, and/or their headline wasn't the one picked.  Some will go into the comments and say "this headline was dumb. Mine is better."  And they say what their headline is, and everyone laughs at them because no, they were only better in their deluded minds.

reminds me of when i was an accountant in an accounting firm, and visiting restaurants with my co-workers.
they were adult men in their thirties, married to a fat sow and laden with crotchfruit, yet they turn into little
kids themselves while ordering a meal

They order stuff like Popcorn shrimp, with kool-aid.

made me want to strangle their pencil necks, right then and there.

I feel ya. While on a trip to NYC with 9 coworkers they decided to stop at an ehnic restaurant on the outskirts of town. Knowing them, I warned there would be no "american food". At all. Didn't stop them from flipping out when told there were no french fries. "What kind of restaurant doesn't have french fries?"

*facepalm*

FTA: "Janssen does have diabetes, but he told Vice that, aside from the occasional blackout caused by his blood sugar dropping too low, he doesn't have any health complications."

I'm no expert, but I don't think that blackouts are normal. I think that, when the brain ceases to function, that could indicate some problems.

Granted, pizza probably has a more varied range of nutrients than most food items. But dude, fruits taste really good. Get some strawberries, raspberries, grapes, or apples. They are great.  It's hard for me to find strawberries at the perfect ripeness though, just like with bananas.

If you HAD to pick one food to eat for an extended period of time, pizza wouldn't be a bad way to go nutritionally, especially if you topped it with some vegetables like spinach or artichoke hearts and had extra sauce. Most of your vitamins and nutrients, a good balance of carbs and proteins and veggies, and worth eating.

Am I the only one who thought this was going to be an article from The Onion?

Janssen says he grew up eating "regular food" but became a vegetarian for ethical reasons when he was a teenager.

So eating meat is unethical, but eating nothing but cheese is okay, because f*ck dairy cows. Those farkers have it coming.

Personally, I think being a vegetarian for "ethical" reasons is pretty silly anyways, but if you're going to do it, at least don't be a hypocrite.

Gee, an article about a diet so dumb I though it was the Daily Mail!

It's tabloids isn't it?

They eat this kind of Fark right up.
