My guesses are:

1. IV
2. Breath ethanol vapor
3. Enema (the colon is designed to extract fluid from digestion, unlike the stomach)

Don't all drinks warm up (or cool down) to 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit once ingested?

Article says no?  OK, you sip your vodka over ice and I'll sip my whiskey neat.  We'll see who dances with the floor first.

I can see how these studies go:  Drink for subject, drink for me.  And a drink for the next subject, and a drink for me....

It probably started on a dare:  Can we get the NIH to fund Grey Goose for the lab?

IV is obviously fast but someone needs to measure the efficacy of butt chugging. I won't but someone should.
