I think it is unlikely that Sarah Palin even knows where Georgia and Ukraine are.

...and a mere six years later, here we are. It's like Palin is some sort of foreign affairs genius!

I remember that episode in 2008 - but mostly because animated gifs came on the scene just as Mikhail Saakashvili ate his own tie.

So people are still trying to convince others that Sarah Palin is not an idiot?

How cute.

Yes, Russia will invade Ukraine because Obama...makes perfect sense. Obama could have avoided it, and he could have made it happen, he is the all powerful. All hail Hypnobama!

Obama should use his time machine to go back in time, take a strong stand over Georgia using whatever armed forces weren't bogged down in Iraq and Afghanistan, and this would never happen.

Well, now I'm convinced that Palin is a genius.  The Republicans should really, really nominate her for president in 2016.  I'm sure her genius will shine thru the campaign and guarantee a Republican victory.

...

Is what I would say if I was an idiot.

As we've said before, this is an extremely far-fetched scenario. And given how Russia has been able to unsettle Ukraine's pro-Western government without firing a shot, I don't see why violence would be necessary to bring Kiev to heel.

So, it's extremely far-fetched, Putin hasn't actually invaded, and he probably won't, but Sarah is still right.

Um, okay.

Squirrel, nut. Broken clock, etc...

The simple fact is that this isn't "start a world war" important, no matter WHO the manufacturer of Sarah's vibrator is.

If NATO goes in, I have no problem with us being part of a joint NATO operation, it's kinda why you join, but we're not farking starting our own war with Russia over this Sarah...

Wait, what?

[reads article]

Wait, WHAT???

Do they not realize Janukovich was extremely pro-RUSSIAN, and it was the PRO-WESTERN forces who toppled his government (and fired a couple shots during the uprising, might I add); and now Putin is warming up the tanks to take Kiev back by force which would entail firing quite a lot of shots, that's why they're asking NATO for help.

Do these people have no concept of the difference between east and west? Or history? Or anything??
