Socially-awkward people really love to play dress-up.

FTFA: These social clubs are a new generation of hardcore Disney fans... Only 10 years ago, their style-tattooed and plugged-would have banned them from the parks and made them outcasts among Disney fans.

Does this word mean something other than what I'm imagining? Because while it doesn't offend me, I'm genuinely curious as to how other people could tell.

Who's the leader of the gang that's made for you and me?

Mebbe this type of "plugged" is the massive ear piercings that people fill with disks of wood/metal...

Or maybe its the kind that have the horse tails (or duck tails for Disney I guess...) attached.  Would make sitting on a roller coaster [painful|interesting]

Came here to highlight the same quote. Is plugged anything like pegged?

Anyway, 100% BS. At no time would being tattooed prevent you from entering a Disney park.

The first couple of paragraphs made me think there were vigilante gangs enforcing good behavior at disney. The next hundred paragraphs just reminded me that fat people love disney and sons of anarchy

I've read a lot of rambling, poorly written articles in my time, but this one takes the cake.

They're infinitely preferable to the drunk, underage "woo-girls" who frequent the parks.

East Side Mickeys? West Side Mickeys? Donald's Dirty Dozen?

Yeah Disney is fine as well as Disney World, but don't be obsessed about it. I prefer a relaxing vacation on the beach compared to being surrounded by corporate things. WDW is still cool though.

An annual membership is about $600, cheaper if you're a senior or vet. If a retired couple wants to spend their days at Disney and pay roughly $1000 a year for both that's a pretty good deal.

About that graph of ticket prices ... When did Disneyland stop with the ride tickets? I seem to remember the entrance fee was cheap but buying the ticket books could get expensive.

/Yeah, baby. I'm an E ticket ride.

Wow, those three guys who "rushed out of the bathroom" were really tough bikers. Not only did they not beat him up, they didn't even confront him?????
Get another tattoo, tough guy.

Tickets were eliminated in June 1982, when all-inclusive passports became the only form of Disneyland admission.
