Pretty sure Stephen King had something like that either in the Dark Half or one of his short stories that I can't remember the name of. But it was about a writer that went schizo and had a second personality that was stalking the first claiming that the first personality had written. I even remember something about a dog or cat being nailed to the garage or something.

Yeah, I couldn't remember if it was that book or the short story "Secret Window, Secret Garden" that mentioned seeing teeth in someone's brain. In the Dark Half I think it was explained as a failed twin or something like that wasn't it?

In by OB/GYN rotation got to see them take out an ovarian teratoma. No teeth, but had a big wad of hair.

/Damn, I'm hungry now, and lunch is two hours away.

That's exactly what it was.. and a tumor was found (on his brain, I believe) that had a functional eye in it.

Been at least 15 years or so since I've read either of them. I'm surprised I remembered part of the plot for either of them.

Oh no...not the teratoma. My ex was (is) an OBGYN and while in medical school she used to relish telling (and re-telling, and re-re-telling) me all the details of those godforsaken things. I'm not generally a squeamish person, but <SHUDDER> those things creep me the hell out.

/Why no, I did not click the link.
