Waiter, I didn't order this hyperuniformity. Please take it back.

Not really a state of matter, but a new biological take on a 2d packing problem. You have five different types of sensors and they have to be randomly placed in relation to one other, but uniform in distribution. I'll have to take the word of the mathematicians, the physicists would be saying "get that rooster out of here".

/and the republicans wouldn't use any lube.

"Along with eggs, soup and rubber toys the list of the humble rooster's most lasting legacies may eventually include optics that can transmit light with the efficiency of a crystal and the flexibility of a liquid."

I thought those were named for Leporidae, not these Galliformes...

Ladies and gentleman of the jury, I am just a simple Hyper-Chicken.

"hey Bob, got a spare 80km bidi chicken eye-ball?"

Well guys, this is my stop.
I gotta go now. You'll all have to go ahead without me.

I always knew the day would come, and that I would know the signs when I saw them.

This is MurphyMurphy, signing off from the world of technology.

Why does every Daily Fail article say nothing of substance yet repeats it three times in the course of said article. I see it frequently--don't they have editors cover there who can spot writers padding their word count? It is this what you get when "research" is merely rewriting someone else's press release?

Eggs! really? Roosters give eggs? Mail online desperately needs a science writer.

So, besides having strange eyes, roosters give us eggs?

Why did the chicken cross the road? To show the 'Possum it could be done.

/Got nothin'.

So, it's chaotic at first glance, ut on closer inspection it's not.
Sounds like every investigation ever.

I keep telling you all, the chicken did NOT cross the road! When will scientists realize this? When will there be peace with the chickens?

This resembles Penrose tiling.

And typical of most press reporters they don't know what they're talking about. It's not a new state of matter. It's a new geometrical way for arranging similar-sized similar-shaped clumps of matter. Sheesh.
