FTA:

"...has taken the periodic table of the elements, which catalogs the basic building blocks necessary for all life in the universe, and   done something useful with it."

I understand this is supposed to be cute,  but thanks to the current lack of support for science research and education in the US I briefly saw red.

There's a periodic table of everything now. I am no longer impressed that you took all the buzzwords related to a particular field, industry or discipline, grouped them into categories, and then sorted them into an colorized table by specific likenesses, presented in an infographic.

Do you're saying that it's the new "-Mt. Rushmore of..."? Cause that was annoying as fark.

This.  Who thought a gateway to that site is a useful thing?

Making lists of tropes is for people who can't write or tell stories. Making a periodic table of tropes is major league trolling on the list makers.

tv tropes is one of the worst sites on the web. it started with a few obvious pop culture truisms, but exploded to include every incredibly vague or stupidly specific idea anyone ever farted into the couch when watching television.

if you think tv tropes is that engaging, you're a moron who use it as an escape from facing the pathetic reality that you fail even at watching television.
