That's a big amount of twinkies.

Then shouldn't subby get back to cleaning?

The great thing is, that since it is a Twinkie, it will still be fresh when Murray, Ackroyd, and the black guy kick the bucket.

Hostess (or whoever makes those things now) should create a giant Twinkie in his honor.

awww.  while predictable as hell, still touching.  he was an amazing comedic actor and director.  69 is a full life but yeah, still a loss.

saw ghostbusters 1 and 2, loved them, but never went full ghostbusters. my brother in law is a huge Ghostsbusters dude, however.  havent' talked to him though.

lame story bro:  about a decade ago i was in TriBeCa and the group i was with, one of them goes, "dude!  dude!  DUUUDE!  I just *KNOW* that is the Ghostbusters firehouse!  Dude!"  in the pre/proto smartphone era we couldn't confirm it at the time but eventually someone did.  i guess had i known i would have taken a picture but whatever.

And retract that...Gothamist says it's an old photo.

Would have been cool, though.

I was just thinking that I felt glad in a twisted gulity way that Bill Murray held out so long on Ghostbusters 3.  But when has a major actor's death ever really stopped Hollywood?  They could release a "next generation" sequel that's just as terrible as any other, and Ramis wouldn't even have to be in it.

We aren't safe even now.

/RIP Mr. Ramis. :(

Only watched a bit, mainly the opening. I do need to sit down to watch it all, because I heard the soundtrack is on par with the original.

It's not horrible. It's definitely not as good as the original, but I've seen far worse.

And @Midnight started the show and came back from every commercial break with a Groundhog Day tribute.  Well-played.

Soundtrack is fine, very well done.  It's the rest of it that sucks ass.  The only redeeming quality of it is that Shaffer finally gets to play with the band on screen.
