In terms of ornithic gaming on the C64, I'd have to go with Potty Pigeon.

What, Fifty Shades of Grey was too subtle a clue?  Pop culture stupidity has reached critical mass.

it's probably written in BASIC or it's ML but with a BASIC line to execute it like "0 SYS 2047", so ,1 is not needed.

Porting it to a C64 is easy. The real nerd is the nerd who ported it to Minecraft.

There are rumors that the creator gamed the system to push the game to the top of the store, although I'm not sure if it's been proved. And if you can get to the top of the store, people will download it just because it's there. Because people are stupid.

Especially when you consider that you can just download the actual app file from a torrent or file site.

I think I just found a use for my old Galaxy S and S2

Hand Banana: I already have the Atari 2600 version.

Not bad for something thrown together quickly in Batari Basic, but neither the graphics nor the sound nor the gameplay are up to the quality of most pre-crash commercial releases, much less the modern homebrew scene.

/would have used sprites instead of playfield blocks for the pipes, allowing smooth scrolling

I am sorry, but speaking as someone who did not lose his virginity until college, I assure you that using either ",8" or "8,1" would only access the 1541 disk drive, device 8.  Device 1 was the tape drive.

To load from tape would be either
LOAD "FLAPPY BIRD"
(with the ",1" understood as the default)
or if it needed to be loaded into higher memory and not the bottom of BASIC memory,
LOAD "FLAPPY BIRD",1,1

/tapes glasses back together
