"It was frightening," Vaughn said. "But it was also surprising no one had panicked, and there was no crying or anything like that ... It's sad to me we live in a society where young people automatically know what to do."

Except that you have no idea of what to do other than cower and hope no one shoots you.

Remember, it's the gun owners that are the real pants-wetting cowards.

/or so the gun grabbers tell themselves whenever they need a fresh set of undies

This is serious post-911 business.

You should have seen the police in SoCal when Christopher Doyner was on the loose last year.  They were driving in tailgating groups of 3 squad cars at a time, and shooting up  people and cars that either didn't, or just barely matched Doyner's description.

I'm pretty sure the sgt / supervisors were distributing adult diapers to the popo on duty to stop them from wetting the patrol cars everytime they saw a vehicle that matched Doyner's description or a black man.

Said one scared individual " it was so surreal and scary! there were these people dressed like U.S soldiers and chanting U.S Soldiers drill songs" Then they all said the pledge of allegiance and said god bless america.

I thought I was going to die, so knocked the guy in fromt of me down and ran as hard as I could.

Matthew Martin is full of bullshiat. There is no way the police responded with  m-16s and told your class to "get on the ground" when the whole ordeal lasted 16 minutes.

Translation: It would have been MUCH better if women had been crying, and people had been running around panicking.

As opposed to?

What do you think would have happened in this exact incident had some cowboy decided to go after the 'gunman'? I'm guessing that the police who responded would have seen a guy holding a firearm in the vicinity of the 'attack' and shot him.
