Listen, acting like a drag queen isn't going to help, not if I read Dame Judi correctly.

and yet she can still out-act 99% of the attention-whore sluts that hollywood trots out in the media

She's saying this now hoping the Academy will award her an Oscar this weekend out of sympathy. After she wins, her eyesight will miraculously recover.

She said: 'I heard a woman being interviewed on the radio the other day who was 105, and I expected this very frail voice, but this wonderful voice came out and she said to this reporter who was interviewing her, "I'll tell you one thing," she said, "Don't stop anything. I never stop anything I'm doing because otherwise I'll never get started again." And I thought, "That'll do." '

This.

I'd throw a shot in her

This is news? I thought everyone knew that's why she wanted out of the Bond franchise? In Skyfall, she had to have most of her lines given to her verbally, and on numerous camera shots in the film you can notice she can't make direct eye contact on her cue. I was actually hoping they'd use CGI to correct where here eyes were directed in editing, but maybe they found it more respectful to simply leave her eyes how they were.

What whacked out system are you using that you throw 5d20?

She throws 3d6, in order, none of this 4d6 drop low, pick and choose nonsense.

/God I wish I could play just one game that she runs.

ehh...not really.  that's "A Midsummer Night's Dream" if i'm not mistaken.  Shakespeare -- you may have heard of him -- wrote a play where some dude got cursed with having a donkey head and hilarity doth ensue.

yeah she was quite the looker back in the day.  hell maggie smith was hot as fark.  newsflash:  getting old sucks.

I would pay real money to see Judi Dench and Helen Mirren play Nanny Ogg and Granny Weatherwax.  That amount of awesome radiating from the screen would be so intense the audience would need lead shielding.

absolutely.

and the mother from Arrested Development / voice of Archer's mom, she's remained very good looking in her advanced age.  not as shapely as helen mirren but, still very good looking.  striking.

I agree, I've had a crush on her since Excalibur (and then Caligula), but looking at her lately she's had quite the doctored face, and I'm a bit sad on that account.  I enjoy women who age naturally, because getting all that plastic surgery starts creeping into uncanny valley, to me.

Actually, that kinda also makes sense for the character. If M knew she was losing her sight and just needed to beat her former protege-gone-wrong and get Bond back on track before she could retire, it'd explain why she took the risks she did.

That, and maybe she preferred getting killed in a last mission to retirement and blindness.

...I...I am so sad now...

IIRC, several cleric spells use 5d20 to determine AOE damage.

Ah, another As Time Goes By fan, eh?  Love that show.  It used to be my Saturday evening comfort food.

(Heh, Dame Dench just showed up on my TV in Shakespeare in Love.  Jesus, she's good.)
