I hope that on my deathbed at a ripe old age, my last words are "Abe Vigoda still survives."

There are probably hundreds of young farkers scratching their heads over this thread?

What's a Vigoda?
Why is a man's picture on bread?
Why are they worried about whether this man is a alive or dead?
etc.

When we were talking to the guy who runs the place my band practices, I said something about Abe Vigoda and he said "he's been dead for years."  I said "NO, he's alive, trust me, this Web site I read all the time is obsessed with his life status" - we seriously debated whether or not the guy was alive before finally googling it.

It must be really weird to have most people thinking you're dead.

A Highlander reference in a Vigoda thread. You just made my day instantly better.

Damn, he was in something last year, according to the link. Good to see he's still getting work.

I'm waiting for the day when he outlasts John Already, who played the younger version of him in Godfather 2.

I'm sure not young, but I am new to commenting.

I am soooo glad, for this and many other reasons, that I spent a long time lurking beforehand ;-)

Abe rode a tank. Held a general's rank.
While the blitzkrieg raged, and the bodies stank.

I had an  "Abe Vigoda watch" Firefox extension for a few years. It was kinda neat, it showed Abe's face and said either "alive" or "dead" on a mouse-over.

This level of fawning sycophancy is embarrassing - I knew Abe Vigoda and let me tell you, if he could read this thread he would be spinning in his grave.

There was a morning radio in St. Louis that some years back used to run a weekly game of Celebrity Dead or Alive.  Every week they would throw in Abe Vigoda.  I was amazed at how week after week, people got that wrong.

Lemmy has always had a few kinks.

Lemmy's greatest video... skip to 1:39 if it's too much cheese for your palate.

Wow, what a giant jizz of tube cheese that was.

On the other hand, I did hear a bassist shout "BY THE MOLES OF KILMISTER!" once, perhaps invoking the demon D'Addario.
